Nic did a wonderful job of navigating the city, while the Oktoberfest parade was happening on the streets. We saw many of the buildings related to the Nazi era. He did a great job explaining the history and what was happening at each location. He even brought his computer to show us pictures of the buildings during that time period. A recommended tour, for sure!

Josh was our guide and had excellent knowledge of the ww2 Era. It was a big day doing this after been at the concentration camp tour in the morning. We left munich satisfied that we had increased our knowledge and understanding of the period

Josh was ne excellent tour guide. I think he did an excellent job handling a sensitive subject. As someone with almost 30 years experience in history museums and teaching I could have been a little picky with a few of his interpretations, but they were grounded in fact. He has clearly done a lot of research and knows his material well. I particularly appreciated his desire to impart knowledge, he was not just going through the motions. The tour was scheduled to end at 5:30 and Josh was still going strong at 6:05 with one more stop on the tour-impressive. I wish I had thought of this in advance, but I had to bolt at 6:05 because I was already 20 minutes late meeting a friend for dinner. Sorry Josh, you deserved a tip and hopefully I can stop back by before I leave on the 21st and do so.

Josh gave us a great tour. His knowledge and passion for his work were clearly evident. Would recommend this for anyone interested in learning more about this dark but still very relevant part of Western history.

Aileen provided a balanced, meaningful and educational view of the rise of the Third Reich, the background and context to describe the political and social view at the time. It was engaging and fantastic to be in the location to hear the stories. I recommend this for all interested in how and why things occurred the way they did, ask for Aileen!!

The tour was very interesting. Josh, our guide, made every minute a journey through one of the darkest time in the twentieth’s century. He was very polite and had great knowledge about world history. This tour is a different and unique way to understand WWII with respect.
