Your Itinerary

Camarinas

The fishing village of Camariñas is well known for its fine craft of bobbin lace. There we can visit the small harbor as far as we go up to Cape Vilan, the first electric lighthouse and most important in the Dead Coast of Galicia. Lots of stories and legends of sunken ships in this area. A little stop for photos and to see the beautiful landscape. When it is open we can also visit it inside.

Muxia

We leave Camariñas behind us and continue to Muxía. A very popular fishing village with thousands of pilgrims heading towards Finisterre, Muxía has a beautiful chapel right over rocks next to the sea. From there we can see the first lighthouse of Cape Vilan in the distance. We will also visit beautiful waves and the new luxury PARADOR Costa da Morte (hotel) so that you can have a coffee or a glass of wine and see the landscape from there. Lourido beach is just below the hotel.

Fisterra

Our goal, Finisterre. First a short walk on the harbor and then a nice and tasty typical meal in a very good restaurant. Galicia is well known for having the best seafood in the world. Also very good fresh fish from the area. Our white wine ALBARIÑO will surely accompany you with a good meal. After dinner we continue to Cape Finisterre, the end of the world.

Faro de Fisterra

Cape Finisterre is the last route that pilgrims from all over the world walk from Santiago de Compostela to here. Km 0 is right in front of the lighthouse. There are also many stories and legends here. Wonderful view from the rocks under the lighthouse to the horizon. Today there is also a small hotel with only 5 rooms and incredible views at sunset and in the morning. You can do souvenirs, photos, walk, coffee or something else up here after lunch.

Fervenza de Ezaro

Ézaro, the waterfall of the Xallas river in the village of the same name, it is always a must to stop here. The waterfall that is directly on the sea and the only one in Northwest Europe. A short walk to the foot of the waterfall.
