Our trip to Evora was one of the best tours we have ever experienced. Our tour guide Nuno made history come alive. He is incredibly knowledgable and a wonderful story teller. The tour was very well organized - we experienced so much in one day. We can't say enough about how beautiful the region is and how meaningful the day was for us. We wish every tour guide was as wonderful as Nuno!

Our trip to Evora was wonderful, A day and our guide, Nuna, made it extremely special. He is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We visited the Megoliths, the Cork processing plant and the city. The day introduced us to history of the area from prehistoric times to the present. The highlight for us was the Bone Chapel.

We had a fabulous day with Nuno from Detours. He is a friendly, engaging and knowledgeable tour guide who loves history. We are happy we booked a private tour: seeing the megalith, the chapel and town of EVORA and learning about harvesting and processing cork filled the day with new adventures.

From the time I made my booking up until the day we were picked up - Nuno, our tour operator and personal guide kept in touch. Very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and it’s cities, the cultural make up and differences, food, politics….. He accommodated all our dietary needs when we had lunch in Evora. His patience in explaining the different land marks was second to none. We admired his attention to detail at the cork factory. My wife enjoyed the historical background discussion on the megaliths. If you want to enjoy a personalised outing with humour, history and general chit chat you will not be disappointed by Nuno.

Nuno was an amazing tour guide: helpful, professional, punctual, and really knew what he was sharing. That's how you know someone's love for their job. The tour was incredible. I had never been to Evora before, and found it delightful. Thank you, Nuno!

Nuno and Bernardo were wonderful to have as our tour guides for our day trip to Evora! They began educating us on the ride over and continued throughout each experience. We were able to decide when we wanted to visit the sites of the city center and we could spend as much time as we wanted at each location. They definitely went above and beyond! We highly recommend either of them.
