McSorley's Old Ale House
At the end of your two-hour walk, have a seat right at the bar where Declan Howell stood - on the bar - and made a speech about Shakespeare in season 2. McSorley's is one of the oldest bars in NYC. Its walls are lined with nearly 200 years of history! You'll see a campaign poster for Theodore Roosevelt, a pair of handcuffs that Houdini wiggled out of, a bust of John F. Kennedy, and far more. McSorley's Old Ale House serves ale and no other alcoholic drinks.

This was a real cause in the late 1950s! The arch dates from 1889. It commemorates the inauguration - on Wall Street - of George Washington as first president of the USA! The arch is iconic; that's why it's seen in Barefoot In The Park August Rush I Am Legend and my wife's favorite movie, When Harry Met Sally.
