    Mike was such a great guide. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgable throughout the whole tour and kept us interested and explained the history in such a way that it gave us an amazing insight during the times of the d-day landings. He was a wonderful and kind person with a great sense of humour and we would recommend his tour to anyone wishing to learn more about the D-day landings!

    Words cannot do justice. I cannot begin to explain how knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, easygoing, and caring Mike, of Allied Victory Tours, is. Trip Advisor only allows a maximum five star rating. I think he deserves 10.

    Mike is an overall very nice person, and an excellent guide. Besides being fluent in 4 languages, he is very knowledgeable about obscure D-Day facts that made the tour even more interesting and informative. A plus for my wife is that Mike is from Holland where her ancestors come from.

    We booked well ahead to get our day. Mike is a very clear and informative guide. The tour was well thought out with key spots explained at a strategic level down to the tactical and with personal stories. We were all very, very happy. When we return we will look to organise a tour with him again.

    This was an unforgettable tour with my dad and my daughter - three generations - which Mike our guide pitched brilliantly to all of us. We learned so much from his expert knowledge, and the passion with which he told the story of each part of the tour really added to the experience. Our tour included Pegasus bridge, Sword and Gold Beach, mulberry harbour and the British cemetery as well as following in the footsteps of a soldier who wa awarded the VC. I would highly recommend Mike who has given us memories to cherish and an experience my dad, who wanted to see where his father served, will never forget. Thank you.
