Your Itinerary

Setenil de las Bodegas

Since this is a private tour, I will give you the option of visiting 2 or 3 different white villages this day. I am completely flexible to visit Setenil de las Bodegas, Zahara de la Sierra, Grazalema or Ronda, so we can decide based on your preferences or even the same day during the tour depending on how you feel

Zahara de la Sierra

Usually Zahara is our first stop, as is the closest white village from Seville. Here, we will have the possibility of visiting a unique factory in Spain, situated inside the Natural Park Sierra de Grazalema, and producing extra virgin olive oil. We will learn the process to making this golden liquid which is top quality and so important for the Andalusian culture.

Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park

Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema are indeed beautiful towns located in the natural park of Sierra de Grazalema in Spain. This park is known for its stunning landscapes, including limestone cliffs, canyons, and gorges, as well as its diverse flora and fauna. Being located within this natural park provides many benefits to the towns, such as protection of their natural environment and promotion of sustainable tourism.

Grazalema

Usually, we have lunch in a nice local restaurant in Grazalema. In addition to the food, you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant and perhaps even chat with the locals. Many restaurants in these towns have outdoor seating areas with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Ronda

Ronda is a historic town located in the province of Malaga, Spain, and is situated in the heart of the Serrania de Ronda mountain range. It is known for its stunning location on a deep gorge (El Tajo) that divides the town into two parts, connected by the famous Puente Nuevo bridge. Visiting the bottom of the Ronda gorge is a great way to experience the beauty and grandeur of the Puente Nuevo bridge, one of Ronda's most iconic landmarks. From the bottom of the gorge, we will admire the bridge's impressive architecture and the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Plaza de Toros de Ronda

(Pass by)

If you're interested in bullfighting, visiting the bullring in Ronda is a must-see attraction. The Plaza de Toros de Ronda is one of the oldest and most historic bullrings in Spain, and has been in use since 1785. Inside the bullring, you can see the arena, the bullpens, and the museum, which houses a collection of historical bullfighting artifacts and memorabilia. You can also learn about the history and cultural significance of bullfighting in Spain and Ronda. However, if you prefer not to enter the bullring, there are still several ways to enjoy views of the arena from outside. Many nearby hotels and restaurants have terraces and balconies that offer great views of the bullring and the surrounding countryside. Some popular spots include the Parador de Ronda or Hotel Catalonia

Javi provided us a most memorable road trip to white villages and Ronda. We appreciate that Javi was in direct contact a few days before the tour, answered questions, and then picked us up at our hotel. Javi was a pleasure to talk with and learn from on our way to visit the villages, and then on to Ronda. He picked out a special venue for lunch in the 2nd village and explained Salmorejo vs Gazpacho (as an example). We took a short hike to take in a view and spotted an Iberian Ibex (lucky for us). Finally Ronda was really spectacular... the cliffs, the bridge, and the scenic walk. Javi was a good driver, teacher, tour guide and ambassador- we thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip, even though there is quite a bit of driving, some of it on windy roads. I highly recommend this tour - especially with Javi as your guide!!!

Javi, our guide gave us an experience that went above and beyond our expectations. His knowledge of all the towns we visited were so helpful in getting the best of each place in the time we had, but never feeling rushed. Beautiful day!

We spent three AMAZING days in Ronda (including two smaller pueblos blancos), Cadiz, Jerez and Gibraltar with Luis as our private guide. We highly recommend him as your tour guide! He has the perfect blend of culture, history, and fun. He was very also very attentive, kind, flexible and patient, especially with my 50,000 pictures! We appreciated all of his tips and advice for the rest of our stay in Sevilla. Luis definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had a FIVE STAR experience! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As an elderly couple with some ambulatory issues we were somewhat apprehensive to travel on our own as we used to do when we were younger. But, relying on the recom-mendation of others, we chose to venture forth as independently as we could once again, with Luis as our guide for private day trips away from our base in Seville and for arranging some guided tours of sites of our particular interest in Seville as well. Our advice to travelers of all ages - trust this man. He is truly interested not only in you and making sure you are comfortable, but also in generously sharing with you his kind and engaging personality and his vast knowledge of the history of the beautiful country he obviously loves. Thank you, Luis.

Great communication from Tour Guide, Luis, from start to finish. Super customizable tour itinerary since we requested for a pickup from Malaga cruise port and wanted to focus on photos taking opportunities from this beautiful Sentil and Ronda. Luis was friendly and took care of our needs given the size of the group and made special efforts to make sure we got our photo opt. Had an enjoyable pre-arranged lunch over lunch the New Bridge with the view. Thank you for such an amazing tour!

We had an excellent tour with Luis as our tour guide. Luis was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good background and historical information to better understand what we were seeing. He was patient, personable and very accommodating. Additionally, we were very impressed with his safe and skilled driving, especially through some of the very narrow streets of the white villages. Luis really took good care of us throughout our all day adventure - we were so glad that we opted for a private tour. I would definitely book another tour with Luis if I have the opportunity!

We four older gals showed up in Seville, Spain and found ourselves without plans for the following day. Late in the afternoon, we called Viator and asked them to help get us to Ronda for a private guided tour. We explained we had a couple of folks with mobility issues, but really wanted to see the white villages and Ronda. Luis Carrillo agreed to modify his plans to take us. We could not have been happier! Luis was kind and generous and took us to all of the places we wanted to see. He had perfect instincts for where we wanted to eat, where to shop and made sure we were in good walking proximity for all of our stops. Any question we had was answered thoroughly and confidently from history to agriculture to culture. He is truly a professional who understands how to meet the wishes of his clients. We highly recommend him!

The guide's storytelling abilities truly brought the history and culture of the place to life. Luis was patient, friendly, and attentive to everyone's needs throughout the trip. Our tour guide Luis was timely, professional, and friendly. He took us on an enjoyable full day private tour to Granada for our party of 7, which included 2 adults, 3 teens (ages 12, 13, 16), and 2 seniors. The private transport picking us from our hotel was comfortable and spending it with a local guide who was so knowledgeable about Sevilla and the Andalucía region was fantastic. I loved how the tickets and guided tour through the beautiful Alhambra was included; we learned and saw so much. The lunch that was arranged after our tour had a beautiful view. Luis was so informative, passionate about sharing his country, full of recommendations, and earned our trust after that one day tour, so much so that we decided to book a half day tour to Morocco through Luis for later that same week. I highly recommend Luis and his company Andalusia Guided Tours.
