    Dave Campbell did a great job leading me around the countryside in search of birds. He was knowledgeable and had a fabulous ear and eye for the birds. Saw in the 90's for species of birds. If you have an interest in seeing and learning about the birds, this guy is for you! Also takes great photographs of the birds.

    Had a great time with David. Very able and very knowledgable, with 'hawk-eye' vision! Various species were pointed out to us, coupled with details about their genealogy and behaviours, as we were guided through Regent's Park. David was switched on from the start and happily shared information in such a way that by the time he left us, we were feeling like amateur bird watchers. I can gladly vouch for this experience under his tutelage. A real pleasure - hope to repeat soon. Thank you, David.

    David took myself and two friends on a magical half day birding trip in West Sussex. He was a fabulous and super knowledgeable guide for three relative bird spotting novices though I suspect he would be equally brilliant with more experienced bird watchers. Between our early morning pick up to drop off at 1.30 we visited 3 sites -Iping Common, Church Norton and Pagham Harbour with the nearby RSPB bird hide.. In total we saw over 60 varieties of birds. Our sightings were carefully aided by David’s encyclopaedic knowledge of bird calls, songs, flight patterns and habits and his support in enabling us to train our binoculars or use his well pitched telescope to zoom in on the birds. As well as a wonderful morning in David’s company the after-visit report detailing each of our sightings with photographs was an added bonus. We would highly recommend Wildstarts and are already planning our next trip. Carole, Penny and Lynn

    Pulborough Brooks RSPB

    On the River Arun floodplain, the guide will show you a variety of wetland and woodland species. Regularly visited by White-tailed Eagles! Expect Little Ringed Plover and Avocet in the summer, hordes of Pintail, Wigeon and other wildfowl in the winter, and birds like Treecreeper year-round.

    Pagham Harbour Local Nature Reserve
