Excellent tour, Denisa was absolutely amazing with us and the kids. First she made the wait short for us to get into the museum, which was greatly appreciated on a rainy morning. Denisa has a vast knowledge of all things in the British Museum. She also tailored the tour to keep our 4 and 6 year olds very engaged throughout the 2.5 hour tour!! Thank you Denisa!!

Lucy was an excellent tour guide and very flexible with our start time when we requested to come a little later. She was very knowledgeable and kind. She can only take you through the highlights of the museum due to how absolutely massive the place is so if you'd like a bit more of a leisurely stroll through the museum, stopping at every single thing there is to see, I recommend you do it alone. However, if you want someone to guide you through it to make sure you see the most impressive stuff, this tour is for you!

We had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Lucy. She kept our 10 year olds entertained and even helped us cut the queue! Thank you so much!

This tour is a must if you want to see the British Museum with children. Adrian was so knowledgeable and kept my 9 year old entertained for over 2 hrs!!! The museum is huge and was so crowded. We would have never been able to navigate it on our own. Adrian had a very organized plan and clearly knows the museum well. He showed us amazing artifacts and taught us a lot.

I traveled to Scotland and London with my 11 year old grandson. The British Museum was at the top of his list to see. I discovered quite late that private tours were options. However, when I went to book it there were no private tours available. I contacted customer service to see if they could find something and they did. Even though I thought the price was highly inflated, this was for my grandson so, I booked it. We were met by a wonderful young lady named, Alexandra. She could not have been more lovely in sharing her excitement about the museum. The first part was wonderful with the Parthenon and the history there. But from there it was in areas that really didn't interest him. We had told her he does Civil war re-enactments and so it would have been better to have focused on the British history or even American history. She also tried to engage him in activities which were for a much longer child. Also, being at the British Museum it would have been a more enjoyable experience to have a guide with a British accent. I also don't know why I was under the impression that we would have the opportunities to go into areas that maybe weren't open to the public. I realize it was a Saturday in July but it was extremely crowded which made it difficult at times to get around the crowds and see the displays. I have used Viator before so that's why I used them again. But this tour was WAY overpriced for what the website showed for other private tours and most definitely not worth what I paid. :(

Tim was a great guide. We booked the private tour for the boys. What I loved was that he explained the building and what the meaning of the pictures carved into the building. He was informative and took note of the boys were getting tired. He suggested we go and see the gardens which was a good choice since the museum was getting crowded

Our guide Tim was excellent-he was incredibly informative and was great with the kids age 6-15 engaging them and sharing some little known facts that really impressed them. He was the very best guide you could have and we are grateful for the time we spent with him

We had a great experience with our guide Lucy. I was with my 4 daughters who range in ages from 8-22 and we all found our experience exceptional. I had my concerns initially taking my 8yo who is a very active outdoorsy kid to a museum, but she loved it!

Ainura was wonderful. She really helped bring the museum to life for our kids and did an expert job guiding us through the crowds. Would definitely recommend.
