We.had a great tour with Stephen. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information during our drive to the plantation. The tour guides at each plantation were excellent as well. Isabelle’s tours are exceptional and she “bends over backwards” to make sure your trip is memorable including sending pictures that our guide took while on tour. Amazing

Super experience. The guys were incredible. We started the morning early and had a very peaceful nature experience on the airboat, before anyone else. The plantations were superb, brought a lot of very knowledgeable guides. Can’t say enough about this tour. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic way to spend our day! Both plantation tours were filled with interesting history of the area and anecdotes about how the families thrived as sugar cane producers. A delicious Southern lunch was served overlooking beautiful gardens. Would highly recommend!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time on this tour! We would highly recommend. Our tour guide John was so kind and informative. He immediately made us feel welcome. The tour bus was immaculate and comfortable. Enjoyed seeing two relatively different plantations; a simpler version and a more grand. The lunch was delicious and again John was attentive and organized with all us during a busy lunch crowd. He had great tips and suggestions through out the entire tour! A fabulous day overall!! Thanks John and Isabelle!

Tours by Isabelle was great! Our guide, Nancy was very knowledgeable and accommodating when we asked for an unplanned stop.

We had the pleasure of having a solo tour with Isabelle due Covid19 limitations and not too many tourists around June 2020. Five stars are for Isabelle and her deep knowledge of New Orleans, and her friendliness. However, the plantations themselves minimized the true historical facts of slavery which was patronizing in many respects. The last stop was at a beautiful restaurant built at a former plantation which. While the building itself was new, some of the trees where over 400 years old. Which reminded me of living witnesses of what really happened on that land. I appreciated Isabelle, but wished there could been some acknowledgement or disclosure that these plantations do not represent their true history. For that you need to go to the Whitney Plantation which I went on my own and highly recommend if you can.

My best friend and I had such a lovely time at the Laura and Houma plantation. The Laura plantation was unexpectedly lovely with its rich Creole culture and the unique architecture. The Houma house was Devine with a luxurious lunch and dessert that sat beautifully in the carriage house. Ms. Isabelle was lovely and a friendly tour guide that informed us of all the lovely history of Louisiana.

The guide, Renet Brunet, was the best. Incredible knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, energetic and authentic. Can’t say enough good things or recommend him enough.
