In Brooklyn, the sights typically include Greenpoint, Brooklyn's Polish neighborhood, with its great bakeries and delis. Then on through Williamsburg North, a trendy, young and hip neighborhood with beautiful views across the East River to Manhattan. Williamsburg South is the next stop and is the largest ultra-conservative Jewish (Hasidic) community in the world outside of Israel. In DUMBO, you will go for a lovely stroll through Brooklyn Bridge Park, with great views (and pictures) of the BMW bridges - Brooklyn; Manhattan & Williamsburg. Brooklyn Heights is next, home to Plymouth Church, the Grand Central Station on the Undergound Railroad, and the largest ensemble of pre-Civil War Housing in America (50 square blocks). You will get out in at the Brooklyn Promenade with beautiful views of the New York Harbor, including Lady Liberty. On Altantic Avenue there will be Middle Eastern Markets to visit. On Flatbush Avenue you will see the Barclay Center (home to the New York Islanders hockey team and Nets basketball team. Then past Prospect Park and through Parkslope, one of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods.
At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the New York City location of your choice - your hotel, a restaurant, theater or wherever you prefer.
