We booked a walking tour with City Rover and were assigned Greg as our host. He was wonderful! The day was rainy and gloomy but it didn’t matter. He took us so many places, while explaining the history, architecture, and evolution to the current day. We would have been fumbling with maps while he knew exactly where to take us next. We will do it again!

Our guide, David, did a great job adapting the tour to what we’d seen before or wanted more info about. Loved the old pictures of areas like Tudor City and Bryant Park. Fun to hang out with!

We had a wonderful Midtown Walking Tour with Patrick last week. He was extremely knowledgeable and showed us places we would never had seen on our own. Highly recommend.

We had a great time with our guide. He was super nice to our kids who had million of questions, fun and kind! Everyone enjoyed our tour!

I would highly recommend taking a tour even if you are somewhat familiar with New York or have visited before. I learned so many things walking around with Dan, and got a lot of great advice from him. He is very knowledgeable and flexible.

We had an excellent introduction to Midtown via a walking tour. Andrew met us at the lobby of our hotel and gave my wife and me an excellent overview of the city. Andrew is a knowledgeable and friendly native New Yorker. We covered a lot of ground, and used the subway to get to lower Manhattan. I highly recommend!

Added a trip to NYC (my first) to some other business in northern NJ. With a short window of time in the city, I want to squeeze as much out of our time as possible so that we could get a flavor of the city, well, at least Manhatten. Dan, our guide worked with us and tailored our tour to check out Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown. We had a 3-hour tour and the Dan kept the pace where this old (65) man could keep up yet keep our 18 years old interested. Dan was also very helpful with emailing suggestions for guiding us in navigating the subway on the day we arrived so we were able to get to our hotel with no issues. We could not have been happier with the professionalism and service provided by Dan and CityRovers!

Andrew was awesome. Very informative and entertaining. Saw and learned many things we wouldn’t have even have known about without an energetic local guide.

This was absolutely the best way for a non-New Yorker to get around the city. Andrew was punctual, informative, accommodating and friendly. I would 10/10 recommend booking a walking tour with them!

I came to NY for work and brought my mom and 14 year old son along so they can sightsee while I was busy during the day. Since I couldn’t be with them to help them navigate the city for the first day I reached out to Max to see if he could bring them around Manhattan for a few hours. I told him that they may want to stop by a few churches during the day, but mostly just wanted to get an introduction to the city. While I didn’t join them for the tour with Max, I sort of felt like I was with them because they simply could not stop talking about how much they learned from Max during their first day! Max taught them how to navigate the subway, explained the history of neighborhoods and buildings and even taught them about the value of “air space” in NYC! My mom couldn’t look at another building the rest of the trip without commenting about that building’s “air space”! Max was wonderful, I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to him on your next visit!
