We will be just in time to get best viewpoint of the guards marching past, busby fur hats high, resplendent in their blues and reds, playing their instruments as they march to the Changing of the Guard.

St. James's Park

Enjoying a stroll away from the traffic through the delightful St James’ park, we uncover the secrets of an English Landscape garden including the secret source of the water for the pond in the middle of the park. Then it's off into the quiet and tourist-free back streets where we’ll discover a quieter London, similar to the one author Charles Dickens would have recognised over 100 years ago. And here you’ll learn how to spot where the Royals go shopping!

My husband and I did a private tour with Tim on 12/30/21. We had the most wonderful time. Our tour was to see some of the James Bond Locations, but we got so MUCH more than that. Tim has so much knowledge on London and great recommendations. I recommend booking Tim for a tour in London. It was one of the highlights of our trip and one we will always remember.

Wir waren im Mai 2022 für eine Woche in London und hatten bei Tim die „Das hätten wir selbst nie gefunden!“-Tour gebucht. Diese hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Einmal ist Tim ein sehr angenehmer Tourguide, der sich mühelos auf uns und unsere Kinder eingestellt und uns viel erklärt hat. Die Tour selbst ist klasse, wie schon der Name sagt hätten wir z.B. die alte Hinrichtungsstätte, Leadenhall Market oder die Skygardenterrasse eher nicht selber gefunden. Die Strecke war auch deswegen toll, weil völlig unterschiedliche Stadtgebiete kombiniert werden. Uns hat besonders Banglatown rund um die Brick Lane gefallen, Tim hatte uns am Ende noch ein wunderbares indisches Restaurant empfohlen. Die Tour mit Tim war spannend und abwechslungsreich, wir können ihn als Tourguide sehr empfehlen!

Die Stadtführung mit Tim durch London hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Tim war überpünktlich am Treffpunkt und hat uns direkt herzlich empfangen. Er ist auf alle der sechs Teilnehmer individuell eingegangen, hat Fragen beantwortet und die Tour flexibel angepasst. Da es unser erster Tag in London war hat Tim uns erklärt welches U-Bahn Ticket am geeignetsten für die Tage ist und welche Restaurants, Pubs und Sehenswürdigkeiten er uns empfehlen kann. Drei Stunden Stadtführung können durchaus lang werden, doch durch Tims sympathische und freundliche Art ist die Zeit schnell vergangen und hat alle Teilnehmer begeistert. Gerne wieder.
