    It was raining the entire day so visibility wasn’t too great. Make sure to check the forecast before booking your tour. Still beautiful though. Our guide Eddie was really entertaining! He was very knowledgeable about Scotlands history. 5 stars for Eddie!

    Viator is a rich platform with many options and last minute inventory availability. We booked the tour one day before and the agent on the phone was amazing and helped us find the right tour for us. The mobile app is very friendly and gives you reminders and integrates with Apple Wallet very well for etickets. I wish they do a similar app for the actual tour operators though. There was a delay in receiving a response from my tour operator and I was told later it’s because Viator used emails only with operators and they don’t use a mobile app platform. Often, tour operators are busy with attending to customers and they can’t check their emails while driving or while entertaining customers. Eddie, the actual tour operator, was super great and very knowledgeable. He is also a very reliable and experienced driver. We felt safe as a family of 6 with him and my old mother and kids loved him. He is a kind person. Eddie was also very flexible and tailored the private tour to our personal likings. We highly recommend Viator and Eddie for your private tours. We didn’t end up going to Loch NES but went instead to Loch Lomond, Luss village and Glencoe Ski. They were all stunning

    Eddie was a treasure of information and was passionate about showing us the Highlands. He provided meaningful commentary and took us to several locations in which we had an interest. We would not hesitate to tour with Eddie in the future.

    Scottish Highlands

    Journey Starts at 8:00am. We will pick you up from your hotel in Edinburgh. We are going to travel pass the Kelpies, Stirling, Doune Castle, through the most beautiful landscapes. You will travel 360 miles, so there is a lot driving. If you have short time to stay in Scotland and also look for a lot of sightseeings of Scotland then this will suit you.

    Kilmahog

    Leaving Edinburgh you wills be travelling through the Kelpies, Stirling, Doune, Callander and stop at Kilmahog to have our comfort stop. Coffee shop and bathroom facilities are available, and see the most famous Hairy Coos --Hamish and Honey

    Glencoe

    After the comfort break we will travel through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park to the most fascination Scottish Highlands mountains --Glencoe. The most breathtaking volcanic rock formations shaped by the glacier. Listening to the very bloody massacred story of Clan MacDonald. The most beautiful Glen Etive is the filming location of James Bond film.

    Fort William for a quick lunch and comfort stop. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Loch Linnhe and Ben Nevis mountain.

    Fort Augustus

    After lunch we will travel through the great glen and Caledonian canal, finally we will arrive at Fort Augustus of Loch Ness. An option for you to take a cruise on Loch Ness for a Nessie hunting trip.

    After the Nessie Hunting we will start travelling back. We will stop at a victorian style village --Pitlochry for our finally comfort stop.

    Edinburgh

    Finally we will travel through the Kingdom of Fife and passing the UNESCO world heritage site -- Forth Railway bridge. Then we will drop every guests off at the picking up location.
