What to expect
Betsy Ross House
A brief pause to revisit the Betsy Ross story and discover new and fascinating facts about the life of one of history’s powerhouse women.
Elfreth's Alley
We will stroll along the oldest, continuously occupied city street in the nation - a beautiful, charming and quirky spot that reveals what life was like for generations of its residents from 1703 to present day.
Christ Church
See where the Founding Father’s worshipped, walk where many were laid to rest, sit in the pews where the figures of history sat each Sunday, gaze upon North America’s first-ever skyscraper.
B. Free Franklin Post Office
Along the way to this historic post office we will visit multiple locations ranging from the historic to modern day. Expect sweets and a visit to a favorite cheesesteak destination.
Independence National Historical Park
Within this, the nation’s most historic mile, we will dive into the stories behind the most significant people and places of the American Revolution. Key highlights include Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
Philadelphia Chinatown
We will visit this tight-knit bustling neighborhood of lively streets, shops and restaurants before stopping for photos at the towering Friendship Arch.
Reading Terminal Market
This may possibly be the most epic indoor market you will ever visit. A must-experience, one-of-a-kind East Coast destination where flavors, history and delicious fun meet.
City Hall Visitor Center
This incredible centerpiece of Philadelphia, topped by the ever-watchful statue of William Penn, went from being mocked as “the ugliest building in the world” to being recognized as one of the most majestic municipal structures in the nation. We will walk it’s courtyard and discover the “whys” behind some of its most symbolic art pieces.
Love Park
We end with the stories, sights and sounds of Center City plus photos at Robert Indiana’s iconic LOVE Sculpture. From here it’s just steps toward further destinations for your day that may include The Barnes Foundation, The Franklin Institute, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and it’s “Rocky Steps”, Boat House Row or shopping and dining in beautiful Rittenhouse Square.
Love Sculpture
An alternate end point for our tour is the iconic LOVE Sculpture, an ideal location for photos and for launching the rest of your day in Philadelphia.
Parc
If you would like to end your tour in the city’s most elegant and beautiful neighborhoods with a cocktail at one of Philadelphia’s most charming Parisian-style bistros (with a view of Historic Rittenhouse Square) we can end your tour at the entrance to Parc Restaurant.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
