What to expect
RAW Tempel Nightclub
We will get to know the history of RAW and visit different sights, urban art and alternative projects. This areal is a hotspot for urban subculture, art and activism.
Urban Spree Gallery
We will visit an art gallery focused on street art and graffiti art. We can see changing exhibitions and will hear about street art, Berlins special relationship with street art, local cultural projects that made Berlin the place it is today.
East Side Gallery
We are going to visit the longest still standing part of the Berlin Wall which was turned into an art project. Here we will hear everything about the fall of the wall, Berlins history and how the city has been changing since 1989. We will stop by some painting and hear their explanation and background.
Kreuzberg
We will visit the scene quarter Kreuzberg that is famous for its vivid urban culture and alternative style. We will hear about the history about this district, about the meaning of the local neighborhood and about gentrification. The tour is going to be about the fight against displacements, urban change and activism. Furthermore we will visit important places like local boutique shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, galleries and other local sights that stand for alternative subculture.
