This town is mentioned in official records as far back as the early 12th century when the Barony of Aberdour was acquired by the De Mortimer family, who are later recorded granting land to the monks of Inchcolm Abbey nearly a century later. We will not have the time to stop in this village due to our commitment to show you the rest of this beautiful ancient kingdom, but we can be sure you will find your drive more than worth it.
