Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes
The convent of San Juan de los Reyes is a monastery in the Spanish city of Toledo belonging to the Franciscan Order, which was built under the patronage of Queen Isabella I of Castile with the intention of turning it into a royal mausoleum, in commemoration of the battle de Toro and the birth of Prince Juan. It is one of the most valuable examples of the Elizabethan Gothic style and the most important building erected by the Catholic Monarchs.
