Pedro was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire area from Sintra back to Cascais. He was efficient, helped us with tours, took us to a couple local spots and introduced us to inexpensive delicious lunches and sweets. He was a great person to spend the day with and see the entire area. My whole family loved the day. Highly recommended!

Pedro was a king!! We loved him and he was so happy to take photos of us and even took a .5 picture of all of us in the TukTuk upon request. He was so knowledgeable and willing to answer questions, as well as joke around and give us the best experience possible. He took us to great view points and restaurants and we saw/experienced so much. Basically, he ate that up.

Pedro took us to all the great spots and showed us the best photo places. We have so many amazing photos. The photos do not do it all justice. We did do an all day tuk tuk tour and started in Sintra. We did Regalria which actually did take quite a while. Had an amazing lunch and then continued on with the tour to the coast. An incredible day. We would not have seen half of the things we did if we had tried to do it on our own. Also learned a lot about the history of the area and Portugal. Worth every penny.

If you've ever visited a distant relative who instantly made you feel like valued family and did everything they could to make your visit memorable, then you know what it's like to spend a day with Pedro. We were at ease with him from the moment we met. He knew of my love for photography and went out of his way to make sure we went to spots for beautiful shots. He introduced us to local pastries (even accommodating food intolerances) and found a wonderful place for lunch - ordering for us so we got exactly what we wanted. His knowledge of the area is impressive, and his love of the natural beauty of Portugal is evident and contagious. I didn't buy tickets in time to get the time slot he suggested at Pena Palace, but he didn't hesitate to rework our itinerary so we still got to see everything we wanted to see. We could tell he genuinely cared that we had a good experience. He even had a lovely gift for us at the end! We saw so much more than we would have seen on our own and got to enjoy the company of a truly great tour guide. Thank you, Pedro, for such an amazing day!

This tour was wonderful. Pedro had so much knowledge and gave us incredible local insight. We toured from Sintra to Cascais. We saw much more than expected. He gave us extra tips on the rest of trip and recommended the best local lunch spot! We are very grateful we had the opportunity to have him as our guide!!

We had a full day tour with Pedro. He was very knowledgeable and invested in making sure we got to see and experience as much as possible and with a local point of view. He is extremely passionate. There are too many highlights that we can’ begin to list them all. His extensive knowledge of all the plants and history at the Monserrat gardens was phenomenal! We can’t recommend him enough. We got so much history and local adventure on our tour. If you can do anything in Lisbon, get a tour with Pedro.

Pedro was fantastic. We chose to stay clear of crowds and go to Monserrat Palace. Not only did Pedro tell us the history of Portugal, he also shared his love and knowledge of the botanical gardens that envelop the palace. We stopped at various strategic points along the way, including palaces and forests on our way to the coast. He took us to a lovely, family run restaurant for lunch that was delicious: great octopus, lamb, sausage and prawns cooked in traditional Portuguese fashion. Along with great wine, bread, cheese, and warm ambience, we left very satisfied. He advised us where to eat in Cascais on our way to the beach town, and stopped at some more points of interest as we drove. Pedro covered all our to do list items plus some without overwhelming us with a fun, kind and intelligent manner. Would definitely use him again! Don’t try Sintra without him.

Pedro Lopes was the BEST! Knowing we are deaf, and that sure didn’t stop him to show and did his best to explain all the sites! He has so much pride of his beautiful country! He went out of his way to be sure we were comfortable and safe! We love Pedro Lopes and call him our friend! Thank you!!! 🤟🇵🇹

Our tour with Pedro is a lasting highlight from our Portugal visit. He perfectly tailored our experience to our interests and depth of information wanted and brought us close to the real local artists, chefs, wine and port makers and vendors. His knowledge of the region, history and unique insights were fascinating. He brought us to beautiful non-tourist locations and had so many great recommendations for the rest of our trip. I highly recommend.

We took our tour with Pedro 2 days ago and he was excellent. We chose to visit the inside of Quinta de Regaleira and were not disappointed. Before we ever entered the mansion, Pedro briefed us on the history of all of the garden features including the chapel. He was also helpful in showing us the best photo ops and techniques especially for the Initiation Well. We stopped often for views of others castles and their history. Also included, were spontaneous stops which included a wine tasting. Pedro was an excellent guide always willing to adjust to our interests.
