Brothers Water

Brothers Water is a small lake in the Hartsop valley in the eastern region of the Lake District in England. Once called Broad Water, it lies at the northern end of Kirkstone Pass, affording views on the descent towards Patterdale.

Pooley Bridge

Pooley Bridge is a village in the Eden District of the northwestern English county of Cumbria, within the traditional borders of Westmorland. The village takes its name from a bridge over the River Eamont at the northern end of Ullswater. You will be welcomed off the boat at Pooley Bridge Pier and depending on weather conditions you will be lead a short walk into Pooley Bridge village for lunch and retail opportunities. Castlerigg Stone Circle

Castlerigg is perhaps the most atmospheric and dramatically sited of all British stone circles, with panoramic views and the mountains of Helvellyn and High Seat as a backdrop. It is also among the earliest British circles, raised in about 3000 BC during the Neolithic period. Location: Independent 80% Assisted 20% Walking difficulty: Easy (gradual uneven incline)

Thirlmere

Thirlmere is a reservoir in the Borough of Allerdale in Cumbria and the English Lake District. The Helvellyn ridge lies to the east of Thirlmere. To the west of Thirlmere are a number of fells; for instance, Armboth Fell and Raven Crag both of which give views of the lake and of Helvellyn beyond.

We will make a stop at this is a beautiful location with peaceful lakeside walks and a historic 13th century church. Grasmere has some interesting shops as well, including the famous Grasmere Gingerbread shop. You will have plenty of photo light refreshments, and retail opportunities.
