    Robert was an outstanding guide. He spent the first few minutes after we met asking us what we were most interested in so he could tailor the tour for us. He provided interesting historical information mixed in with entertaining stories and he has a great sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed our private Royal Mile walking tour with Robert and I would highly recommend him.

    The tour was one of if not the most amazing and memorable tours I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. There was an abundance of relevant historical stories and tales that kept the tour interesting whilst also adding in some humour and depth. We also managed to walk around to quite a few different places, yet the pacing was very well planned so your feet do not become sore. There was enough stopping and walking so that you could see a lot of buildings, incredible views and learn about the amazing history of Edinburgh. 100% would recommend :)

    We will see the exterior of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and hear of the story of two of the most famous Royal residents here - Mary, Queen of Scots and Prince Charles Edward Stewart.

    We'll take you from the gates of the Palace of Holyroodhouse to the drawbridge of Edinburgh Castle. You'll hear about murders, shootings, royal proclamations and civil wars. You'll visit pretty little closes and wynds and learn about some of the most famous figures in Scottish history.
