We had a most beautiful informative and memorable experiences. Visiting two wineries gave us different views on wine growing and production action. Fernando was very friendly and ensured that we had plenty time to enjoy the wineries, lunch, and the boat ride. He went above and beyond; stopping far local supermarket so we could provision for our stay at a villa in the Douro Valley. Thank you Fernando for a wonderful day in the Duoro Valley!

David created a private tour for my friend and I, and it was very well planned, relaxed, and comfortable. His English is very good and his vehicle is clean and well maintained. He chose two family run wineries for tours and tastings. I appreciated not going to large crowded establishments. He gave us two suggestions for lunch, and we had a one hour boat tour on the Douro River. Pick up and drop off was conveniently at our accommodations. He had bottled water and even a small cooler available for our needs. He was kind and professional and we had the perfect day in wine country.

Fernando took us for a tour of two boutique wineries toured by the owner winemakers. We went to lookout of the valley and river that was breathtaking. A boat trip up the Douro gave another perspective on the valley that we enjoyed.

We had a great day tour with Fernando. We were able to communicate well and couldn't have seen the Douro Valley, to its extent, without his driving expertise. We loved the first stop, which was a small family owned wine producer, authentic and passionate about his craft. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you do wear appropriate comfortable clothing, shoes especially. August is very hot but Fernando had plenty of cool water for our party of 7. Thank you Fernando!

Fernando was very attentive to my entire family and took us to two excellent wineries, which in turn also gave us excellent service, largely due to Fernando's relationship with them.
