Had an all around great time! The wildlife sanctuary was enjoyable. I half expected it to be kitschy, but it wasn’t at all. Seeing the penguins come out of the water was great! Even better, though, was seeing them from the walkway as they made their way to their dens. Our guide, Pail, was great. I’d highly recommend this tour and this company.

Get a better tour guide. Someone who has a sense of humour. Does not risk the lives of his passengers to make his time to be back. Drove like a manic coming home. He wasn't so worried when he picked me up 45 minutes late. More time given to actually see the penguins. Penguins didn't come out and start to walk up our path until 9pm and we were to be back at the bus at 9:30. The whole purpose of this trip was to see the Parade of the Penguins. Would have liked time to watch them nest on the other side of the bridge. I made a joke about going to a bar and seeing a drag queen contest after and he took me serious and told me he'd drop me off because this was not a private tour. If this wasn't a private tour why did a man ask if we could go to the raceway. We went and heard all this boring stuff and I can guarantee you that at least 80% of that bus load of people could have cared less. That wasn't on the agenda but it interested the guide so we went. I was late getting back to the bus because I had to go to the bathroom and then get a ride with the buggy which took time. I even cut my viewing of the penguins short so I could do this. It was a long walk to bathroom as I'm disabled and I had to wait until the cart was empty she could pick me up. I wasn't the only patron needing a ride that night. From now on I will only travel with GO WEST. They treated me with dignity and compassion and even made an unplanned stop on the way home with no problem. When I write my book I will certainly make sure to tell people to stay away from your tour company.

Really incredible experience. Paul was an amazing guide and took the time to chat to everyone on the tour individually and thank everyone sincerely for coming. The sanctuary on Phillip Island was an amazing experience. Every native Australian animal you could want to see all in one. Loads of kangaroos that come right up to you, and Paul personally guided us around the sanctuary and provided interesting facts and commentary. Cowes is a lovely town and Paul gave us a short tour and provided dinner suggestions. Penguins were very cool as well, and the beach was beautiful so it was very enjoyable to sit and wait for them to come out of the water. Highly recommend!

The ride to Philip island was long. But Paul our guide managed to fill it with lots of funny stories and wonderful character. It was wonderful to get up close with the animals at the sanctuary. The pit stop dinner town was very scenic as well. And the highlight penguin parade was worth the drive. Beautiful new facility built. Nice to just have a coffee in there first. Then watching the penguins against the beautiful southern coast. Once in a life time. P.S. it gets cold. Bring the ride clothing.

Really enjoyed our day trip from Melbourne to Philip Island Penguin Parade. Picked up, on time, in an executive style minibus. Only takes 11 passengers so very small group which made for a much better trip. Visited Philip Island Wildlife park where we spent a couple of hours seeing, and feeding, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and a variety if other native animals and birds. Despite the rain we gad a lively time there. The highlight of the trip was the penguin parade which was amazing as about a thousand blue penguins emerge from the sea and waddle their way back to their burrows. On our way back to the main building you got even closer to the penguins as theh continued their journey alongside the walkway only about 6 feet from us. The whole experience was made so much mire enjoyable by Paul, our guide. Paul went out of his way to help a young couple who had booked with a rival company, when he didn't really need to. He gave a running commentary about Melbourne history and the wildlife we encountered. Also making detours to show us places of interest. Paul has a great sense of humour and maintained this despite having one demanding client. Great value for money and very enjoyable day
