Our guide Jose was extremely well informed and he explained the history and geography of Lanzarote and the wine growing industry as we went along. The route gave us lovely views and we were given an excellent lunch of local cheeses at the end. The day was very well organised and the capabilities of the walkers were taken into account.

Jose was very informative, and amusing. The trip was steep in parts but Jose was inclusive and relaxed at the pace we all reached the stopping points. We gained so much knowledge about the culture of working the land in this area. The wine and cheese was great. A lovely guy.

Great introduction from avid newcomers(20 years). You leave not just having had a great walk- wear decent footwear if you can- but also an understanding of how the people get life from a land without rivers. 2nd time here. This is the best

Amazing tour! Really enjoyed it. José was a brilliant guide telling us very interesting stories both about wine making and the island itself. Thank you!

The leader Jose had a very impressive knowledge of the area and was a good communicator. Most impressive was the care he took of the party. I am very used to walking but it was extremely and i suffered somewhat. He was extremely caring and always looking out for the party. On the day we cut the walk short slightly to avoid an ascent in the heat. The cheese and wine at the end was superb. It was an excellent trip. Thank you Steve

Outstanding wine tour, second year in a row for us. Trip was most enjoyable and different vineyards from previous trip.

We just loved this trip! Jose was very pleasant, personable and informative. It was surprising how much beauty can be found in volcanic landscapes. A good walk combined with time to stop and enjoy the scenery and plenty of opportunities to take photographs. Jose also provided plenty of water and snacks for the walk and made sure that we went at a pace to suit everyone. To top it all off, since we were only a small party, we gathered together at the end with a glass of local wine and a selection of local cheeses, bread and conversation. This is a must do on your Lanzarote holiday and we are looking forward to another of Jose's tours when we return in November.
