Great tour and history of Madrid of events and food. Carmen is fantastic. As I was the only person who showed up, modified the tour to fit places and food I hadn't eaten before.

Carmen was an excellent guide. She was very informative and the balance between information and food was perfect. All of the stops were great and we were full at the end.

Our host was very knowledgeable, however, when my wife stated that she couldn’t eat shellfish, we were told that’s all they are known for at this establishment, and didn’t offer to take us somewhere else or attempt to order something else.

Carmen was a wonderful tour guide! She took us to some great tapas bars & explained a lot about the history of both the location & Madrid in general. The food & drinks were great! She was very friendly, funny, and informative. The churros & chocolate were amazing! Definitely recommend her tour!

This was a terrific tour with Carmen! She took us to a variety of places, explaining the history of the areas, the restaurants and the local cuisine. She obviously enjoys giving the tour and answered so many questions. I would recommend this tour!

I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was Carmen and she provided some great dialogue not just on the tapas but about Madrid. Each stop was carefully considered and provided us with a glimpse of Madrid social life and lovely tasting food and drink. One activity worth doing!

Carmen was a fantastic guide for this tapas tour. Her English was excellent and her humor delightful. We had tapas and wine/beer at four different stops. Her choices were delicious. We would go back to any of them again. Don’t miss this wonderful tour!

Unfortunately, the weather was cool/cold. My wife wasn't feeling well, so she had to cancel. The only other guest was a no-show. Just me and the guide Carmen. The stops were OK, food was OK, the information provided OK -- overall, just somewhat disappointing.

We are beyond thrilled that we chose to do this food tour!! We only had one day in Madrid before we flew out the next day and we cannot imagine spending our time a better way!! Carmen, our guide was passionate about the city and food and had a fun and enthusiastic energy! She was so knowledgeable and we learned so much! Best of all, she took us to such unique, small, local tapas bars that we would have never gone into ourselves. Show up hungry because you will be stuffed by the end of the tour!! The atmosphere and food in all of her spots were top notch! We also did some quick stops and learned a little about some special squares and historical spots in Madrid. We cannot recommend this tour enough and we highly recommend Carmen if you can choose!! She is so fun and like hanging out with a friend for the evening. Thank you so much for such a great night Carmen!! Also - show up early or at least on time! We appreciate that Carmen did not wait around for more than a few minutes, looking for the other couple that was supposed to be on the tour. She did a quick walk around to look for them, but she does not waste anyone's time. We appreciate dthat - we were hungry!!
