Amazing walk!! It was worth it doing it with a guide. Samara was the best guide very nice and very knowledgeable. It is long but doable at your own pace. You have several stops to enjoy the view and drink water. No age limit if you have a good mobility.

The experience itself was wonderful, and the guide (cannot remember his name but he was Argentinian) was very good. I would recommend a visit to the gorge, but don't do it with Viator. Only now that I am home and adding everything up have I discovered that Viator used an extortionate exchange rate to bill me in my home currency. I am awake to that ripoff normally, but Viator either didn't disclose it or did it in an underhand way - either way, through applying an extortionate exchange rate, I was charged about 30% extra on top of what was already an expensive Euro price. Organize yourself and visit this area independently - don't pay the outrageous markups that Viator charges. The company makes those Nigerian scam artists look like a charity.

The bridge, seeing some rock climbers and the sounds and views of nature. It was an unforgettable experience!

Five of us completed the Caminito on Thursday 27th December. We pre booked two months before and drove up from Cala dos Mijas to start the walk at the tunnel entrance. The attention to safety was both commendable and pragmatic. The trek was straightforward and thrilling, however the whole experience was enhanced greatly by the quality our guide Paul. I would unreservedly recommend anyone with a reasonable level of fitness to do this walk as you will be amazed!

Well organised, fantastic views, easy walk with children, interesting bi-lingual comments of the guide, great tour but not surprisingly a challenge for people with fear of heights. As a family of 4 we loved it.

Hi this tour is truly beautiful , but what should have been enjoyable was made too long a trip. You could actually walk the Caminito de Rey in 1 hour 45 minutes but it took us three hours as we had to keep stopping to listen to the guide. I felt that most of the stopping was not to give you really needed information but was to let the other groups ahead keep moving. We started at 2.45 and did not get back to the bus until 6.30 which was not the walking but the keep stopping every 15 minutes. When you finally finish the tour you are left to walk another 1000 metres to the bus stop to take you to the starting point. Minibuses should be provided at the end of the tour. Beautiful scenery but lagged out too long

The hike/ walk views were amazing first off. But we spent more time waiting in long cues mutiple times than we did hiking. Our hike was supposed to leave at 9:30 ended up being closer to 10. It was also supposed to be 16 people max. It was 40+ and took us over 4 1/2 hrs when all was said and done. If you did the hike by yourself, which you could, it would be more like 2 , 2 1/2hrs. The guides were friendly and did what they could, but I’d recommend going alone or in a much smaller group.

Fantastic from start to finish. Guide was really knowledgeable. Scenery stunning. The activity did last longer than 2.5 hours was more like 3hrs then it takes time to get back to the start point so bear this in mind when planning your day.

Fantastic walk through a gorgeous canyon! Not for the faint of heart and for those who don’t like heights!

Our guide Luis provided useful information on the history of the walkway and the general area. Unfortunately due to high winds the final, and most memorable part of the walkway was closed the day we visited.
