Your Itinerary

No Frills Excursions

(Pass by)

An excursion is much more than just to take you from your hotel in Mallorca to the venue. Our philosophy is that every excursion in Mallorca should be an experience and we use the best guides and choose the best itineraries to ensure that we create unforgettable experiences.

Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca

(Pass by)

We will begin the tour by the famous Palma Cathedral, where we will begin our stroll around the area, taking in all the wonderful architecture and history this glorious city has to offer!

Estatua Es Foner

(Pass by)

We will pass by one of the most famous structures within the city instelf, "Estatua Es Foner" o "El Hondero" which translates to "The Swinger". This beautiful structure was donated by the sculptor Jaume Mir in 1992. Jaume Mir was one of the most prestigious Mallorcan sculptors of the 20th century and his work and rigorous technique is internationally renowned.

S'Hort del Rei

(Pass by)

We will continue to discover the "Old Town" of Palma walking through these beautyful gardens! "S´hort del Rei" which transaltes to "The Kings Gardens" located under the Almudaina Palace. In the 14th century this area had restricted access, and was full of fruit trees, plants, vegetables and colourful flowers. The current garden was renovated in the 1960s by the architect Gabriel Alomar. Alomar based the renovation of this space on traditional Andalusian gardens. Today the garden has cypresses, fountains and a large pond. Take advantage of the great photo opportunity here and capture some images to last a lifetime!

Catedral de Mallorca

Once we come down from the walls we will stop for photos outside Palma Cathedral (La Seu), and hear how the Roman Catholic place of worship was built on the site of an old Arabian mosque. Then, head inside to admire its circular, stained-glass windows and Gaudi-designed features. The colorful, and often controversial, Modernist artist left his mark on the site, and his eye-catching altarpiece is thought to be the cathedral’s highlight. Since you are on our private guided tour you don´t need to wait in any long queues that accumulate at the cathedral (very long!).

Admission Included

Palau de l'Almudaina

(Pass by)

Once we have finished the tour of the beautiful cathedral, you will be able to admire the beauty of The Royal Palace of La Almudaina, which dates back to the 14th century. It is the official residence of Their Majesties the King and Queen during their stays in Mallorca. Together with Palma Cathedral, they constitute a landmark of the capital of the Balearic Islands. A palace that reflects the artistic styles that have followed one another throughout the island's history.

Ajuntament de Palma

(Pass by)

While we continue to stroll through the beautiful old town of Palma you will come across the Ayuntamiento de Palma, located in Palma's Plaza de Cort. It was built between 1649 and 1680 by the architects Pere Bauçá, Miquel Oliver and Bartomeu Calafat. Some of the most outstanding elements on its façade are the balcony with seven large windows, the Rellotge d'en Figuera (Figuera Clock) and the Banc del si no fos (Bank of if you don't miss it). The building itself was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument belonging to the National Artistic Treasure by decree of 3 June 1931.

S'Olivera

(Pass by)

While you´re taking in the breathtaking views of Palma Old Town and the historic architecture, keep an eye out for The Cort olive tree! This unique tree, known as the Olivera de Cort, was planted in 1999 from Tramuntana mountain range, as a symbol of peace and rootedness to the land. The Cort Olive Tree is located in the middle of the square, right in front of the town hall. Despite the move and its age, it continues to bear fruit every year.

Can Forteza Rey

(Pass by)

This one is for the Art lovers! A must-see building, due to its characteristics. The stylistic decoration of the façade right through to the interior design, shows a strong influence of Catalan modernism, especially some of Gaudí's work - take in all it´s glory and get the camera out to be able to cherish these moments forever!

Sa Llotja

By this point we will have covered the main areas in the old town, and our tour guide will be able to give you suggestions about places for a spot of lunch and a drink, including Sa Llotja where there are many tapas bars.

Nice explanation bout the cathedral and very friendly guide Juan. The only negative thing was, that the meeting point was not clear and I couldnt find it .I had to contact the operator many times and finally I called the guide and joined the Tour.I was late about 20 minutes because of the difficulty to find the meeting point.

Tour guide was very informative and 90 minutes was perfect amount of time. Would have given 5 stars except tour guide was 10 minutes late and meeting point was unclear.

Jeannine was an excellent tour guide. However difficult finding location from cruise port. The food was not to my liking however.

Palma is a very beautiful city and the Cathedral is very special. Peter was an excellent guide. We have leant a lot about the history of Palma and the Cathedral.

Amazing cathedral well worth a visit. It's so large when you go in the entrance and the architecture on the outside is so technical considering how old the cathedral is. The old city streets are very quaint with lots of individual shops. If you want high end shops you've got them as well like Hugo Boss. Great guide Juan very helpful and funny a great asset to No Frills had him on the Drach cave tour as well. The coach driver was Very good as well. Highly recommend this company.

There were too many people and most of the tour was about the cathedral and hardly anything about the Old Town.

I received no reply to an email request for more information prior to the tour. However, we arrived 15 minutes before the tour was due to start at 11.20am. Lots of other tour groups were there but our guide arrived 15 minutes late without ant apology. In the interim, we had tried to contact the organisers by phone, without success. There were about 30 people in the group, and the tour was conducted in German and English despite being advertised as being in English. However, usually with such a big group I would have expected to receive ear pieces which we didn’t and as a consequence unless you were near the front, it was difficult to hear. Also the guide had a very heavy accent which added to the difficulty. After we left the Cathedral, we had had enough and dropped out The worst tour ever and poor value for money I will put my views on social media and will not be using Viator again

We were very disappointed with this tour. We booked online the night before and, although the guide was very pleasant, the group was much much too big (about 40+) which meant it was impossible to move quickly, stay together, and hear what the guide was saying. We felt that we really only visited the Cathedral, which was magnificent, but we were given no sense of the bigger city. We also felt that we had been 'added on' to another group already on holiday. Individual audio links to the guide would have improved this situation. I would not recommend.

We were very disappointed with this tour. The guide was very pleasant but the group was much much too big (about 40+) which meant it was impossible to move quickly, stay together, and hear what the guide was saying. We felt we only visited the Cathedral, which was magnificent, but did not give us a sense of the bigger city. We also felt that we had been added on to a couch tour of people already on holiday. An audio link to the guide would have improved this situation.

Never got to go on the tour because IF this company exists and isn't purely a scam, then they provided the wrong info or left too early. I arrived 5 min early on the dot and no one was there. There were no English speaking tours in the area. No one knew where to find the tour. Refused to provide a refund so I will dispute with Visa.
