8.45am - You will start your day at our main office, which is right next to the famous Palau de la Musica. You will meet your guide, have time to use the restrooms, and perhaps even grab a quick coffee before the tour begin. Your guide will explain all about the day ahead and what to expect as you wait for you tour to leave.

Eixample

9.00am - You will leave Barcelona though the Example district of town. As you head out of the city, your guide will give you a brief history of Barcelona, before letting you sit back and relax on the 60 minute drive to Girona.

Girona

10.00am - On the hour long drive to Girona, your guide will give you a brief historical introduction of the city of Girona and Catalunya. Once in Girona, you will follow the trail of key characters such as Arya, Jaime, and Margarey Tyrell, among others, at the show's key filming locations. Throughout the day, your guide will share photos at each site, helping you piece together what it takes to film and produce the hit show. During the visit, we will also grab a delicious popsicle stick of ice cream, Ser Jaime's golden hand. Finish your exploration of Girona, taking some time to wander its medieval alleys, Jewish neighborhood, and enjoy the historic architecture. After some free time alone, you will meet up with the guide and drive to a family restaurant for a hearty lunch with many of the local specialities.

Blanes

1.00pm - Driving from Girona, we stop in Blanes, the Gateway to the Costa Brava. We will be stopping in a family run local restaurant for a hearty lunch with many of the local specialities. The owner will welcome us with a homemade sangria, followed by a wide selection of local starters, main courses and dessert. From here, we will head to our last stop, a nearby medieval castle.

Castillo de Garcimunoz

4.00pm - Our last stop will give us the chance to visit a well preserved medieval castle and enjoy its lovely views. The castle dates back to the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, and enough remains of the structures to show how imposing it must have once been. After some free time, we will head back to Barcelona, arriving at about 5:30pm.

Placa Catalunya

(Pass by)

5.30 - 5.45pm - We end the day in Plaça Catalunya. From here, you can easily take the metro or a taxi back to your hotel. Otherwise, your guide will be more than happy to make some recommendations of where to have dinner.
