3 hour guided tour around Bilbao with Roberto was a very enjoyable and informative experience. We were given a synopsis of the history of Bilbao - past, emerging and present. Roberto was well informed, pleasant and amusing, worked at our pace explaining and answering our many questions relating to this beautiful place. Had never ridden an Electric Bike so was a little nervous initially however it was great - definitely recommend.

Daria was the best part of the tour! We went to so many highlights of the city; and they were all really great, but she made them each personal. She stopped so we could take in sights from good viewpoints with interesting bits about the city beyond what you would just read in the guidebook. I loved her favorite art. She spoke of the Guggenheim effect and the artists' reenvisioning a city and beyond. It was a personal and smaller group which I felt great about. She had many personalized tips tailored to interests with local spots: to see nature or pinxtos or history or whatever your likes. I was lucky enough to randomly arrive on the last night of the festival of lights which I never would have known if it hadn't encountered a nice shoe shop owner who suggested I must go! She brought up the festival as it applied to the places we visited after I mentioned it, and brought up other famous fests for any future visits. She was very good at signaling the traffic so the group could easily stay together and not get split up. She helped adjust the bikes when some struggled and as we entered the kid zone she hopped off the bike giving the group good etiquette. I don't do lots of touristy experiences but this was personalized and didn't feel overwhelmingly touristy or groupie. I learned a bunch; Daria could answer even rando questions and had tips about how to find vegetarian and vegan food which can be a challenge in Iberia. Bilbao is now my favorite young vibrant city in Europe. I'm embarrassed by this last bit but good thing my geography of Basque country is so bad that my trains were going to eat up two days with weird mid night stay overs in random towns and traveling through Bilbao was offered as an alternative which put this amazing place on my radar! Don't miss Daria or this tour, but if you are a rude demanding American tourist forget I said anything and stay on your couch because there are hills and pedaling involved! Otherwise enjoy the beauty of Bilbao.

Our guide, Milan (spelling?), was one of the best we’ve had over the years. Articulate, funny, engaging and knowledgable. We highly recommend this tour and guide.

Oscar was the best part of our tour. We only had one day in Bilbao coming to and from San Sebastián and he helped us make the most of it. He made sure we saw all the important sites, including of course the Guggenheim and was truly informed about the city, its history and its people. He didn’t overwhelm us with information, but we left with a lot more knowledge than we had going in. His passion for his hometown (and its ‘futbol’ club was sincere and invigorating. I highly recommend this tour with Oscar. Bilbao itself is a wonderful town with amazing food and gracious people.

Absolutely wonderful experience riding through the city with Roberto and learning so much in a perfect time frame. The ebikes were simple to use and well maintained and very helpful for some of the grade. Well planned out and executed route particularly left one with a good feeling and knowledge of the history of Bilboa. Highly recommended.

Benet is an exceptional guide with deep knowledge of Bilbao and its history. The electric assist bikes make getting up hills very easy. Book this trip early in your Bilbao stay to get acquainted with the area. Besides seeing all the sites we stopped to play a round of handball….Jai Ali (?) Benet recommended we take the funicular to the top of Bilbao for sunset. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Heitor_C

Great way of getting to know the city. Daria was the guide, and she really knows about the city. Would highly recommend!
