Ticiano gave me a great tour of Santiago de Compostela. He was very knowledgable about the history of the church and town.

We learned a lot of history and I like the small walking tours, but David speaks English with such a strong accent that we only got about 1 of 3 words. He knows his history, that was clear. But he was a cynic about people’s joy walking the Camino, insisted on stopping in the Sun when we asked repeatedly to talk in the shade of buildings, and he was almost rudely dismissive of the USA, unlike every other tour guide on our trip. Would not recommend him

I took a chance to book a couple of paying tour with a company specialized in "free tours", and I'm happy I did. Margarita was my initial contact, and she helped me planned a perfect day in Santiago de Compostela. She was very responsive and patient, and answered my million questions. :) On the day of the tour, We had a private city tour for our group of 4 with Cristina, and we bonded with her immediately! She was very fun, caring and professional. She gave us a really good overview of the city, and told us the history of the city. Then we met up with Diego, who gave us a guided tour of the museum and the cathedral. Also a great guide. I highly recommend this tour company!
