We have done the tapas experience tour with Valentin. He showed us around the great beautiful old city and told us about history, the typical things of the Valencia people but what we enjoyed most of all, he let us TASTE Valencia! It was an experience of tasting, with a begin and an end. He built it up from sweet to savoury and with the most tasteful drinks it was great! We asked him to talk in Spanish because we have Spanish lessons, but when he thought we didn't understand it, he explained more in English. It happend very naturally. Valentin is very friendly, calm and relaxed person to talk with. He gave us good tips for the next day, so we went to the market, you have to see it! We enjoyed Valencia and learned a lot from Valentin. Good food, good places and good Spanish! Thank you Valentin ! Maria is a wonderful guide and a teacher of history which we love! The food and drinks were delicious. Sampling a bit of eveything and finishing with aqua de Valencia. We had a great time and will book again for one of the other tours. Highly recommended.

Our guide Maria was great and gave us a good introduction to a lot of features in the old town as well as being ready and able to answer questions on a number of topics about the city. The various food stops were all busy (proving just how good they were) but spaces had been pre-booked for us. Maria had selected a great set based upon her detailed knowledge, prior visits to them (and many others) and a deep interest in the subject. A first-class experience.

Maria led us through lots of twists and turns, small alleys and lovely plazas as we tasted our way through old town neighborhoods in Valencia. Maria has lived here for some time and knows the city well. She you took us to little gems with warm, friendly service. We had anchovies, sardines, mushrooms, jamon croquettes, the most wonderful local cheese with tomato jam, olives, vermouth, agua Valencia, local vino blanco and more. It was a relaxing pace and overall a lovely laid back, incredibly tasty tour.

Maria was fantastic. She took us all over the old town and explained a lot of the history of Valencia while we walked. The food was superb and the drinks at each stop were also great compliments to each of the tapas we tried. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone.

Maria was the best! She made us feel right at home from the minute we met. She took us on a wonderful tour of this beautiful city and shared with us the best places to enjoy truly authentic Spanish dishes. By the end of the night, it felt as we had shared the night with a dear friend!

We had a memorable FoodTour with Valentin; we started at 1900 with Horchata and at 22hr we finished with a jug of Aqua de Valencia; in between Valentin treated us with the best tapas at real local places and authentic tastes in combination with Cava and white wine all included in the tour-price! Would certainly recommend it to everyone looking for an real local experience!

We were taken on our tour by Maria who was so lovely and personable and my partner and I found the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. As it was our first trip to Valencia we found it refreshing to learn so much history and information about the area all whilst walking through the streets between stops, tasting some delicious local delicacies at each cafe/restaurant we visited. This tasting tour really is the best way to explore Valencia, it’s traditions, history and the extraordinary food it has to offer. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone new to Valencia and want to give a special thanks to Maria for being such a good host!

This was a very good tour. Our guide spoke excellent English, and it was fun to eat at the different restaurants and try the different foods… All while talking to him and learning about the Spanish culture. We loved it, and absolutely would do it again.
