What to expect
Campo De' Fiori
Our meeting point is Campo de' Fiori, one of Rome's most famous piazzas. Nowadays it's known for lively bars and restaurants but many people have died on its very grounds, making it the perfect place to start our spooky adventure!
Piazza Farnese
This square was once a hotspot for lavish parties hosted by the city’s wealthy elite...but with fortune comes a price.
Learn about the madonelles or “little madonnas” sprinkled along our route and their history as crime-stopping statues.
Ponte Sisto
Ponte Sisto is the oldest bridge in Rome and harbours a gruesome past involving tragic accidents, power struggles, theft and of course, suspicious deaths.
Fontana del Mascherone
Whatever you do, don’t drink from Rome’s deadliest fountain.
Chiesa di Santa Maria dell'Orazione e Morte
This 17th century church is decorated in human remains and serves as a reminder for all those who visit that death lurks at every corner.
Via di Monserrato
Find out why this apartment block is one of the most haunted places in Rome.
Chiesa di Santa Maria in Monserrato degli Spagnoli
Hear the scandalous stories surrounding this Spanish church, which are worthy of a telenovela.
Via Giulia
This iconic building was once a former beauty shop which tells the story of when cosmetics can kill.
Via dell'Indipendenza
A charming house on an unsuspecting street tells the chilling story of Rome’s most infamous executioner “Mastro Titta.”
Castel Sant'Angelo
This bridge used to expose the bodies of the executed as a warning to sinners. Nowadays it’s surrounded by statues of angels and tells the story of the Cenci family and how they met their fatal end.
