My recent trip to Atlanta was made truly memorable by the exceptional Black History and Civil Rights tour with Roundabout Atlanta. Our guide, Jeff, was the epitome of a knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging leader, transforming our tour into an unforgettable immersion into the city's rich historical narrative. From the moment we embarked on our journey, Jeff's infectious enthusiasm and local expertise set the tone for an exceptional experience. He expertly navigated us through Atlanta's iconic landmarks, weaving together captivating stories and historical insights that brought to life the city's pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement. Jeff's ability to seamlessly blend historical facts with personal anecdotes and local perspectives made the tour truly immersive. He didn't just share information; he connected us with the emotions, struggles, and triumphs of those who fought for equality. Beyond the historical significance, Jeff's intimate knowledge of Atlanta's neighborhoods and cultural nuances provided invaluable insights that enriched our overall experience. He generously offered recommendations for local eateries, hidden gems, and must-visit attractions, ensuring we had a well-rounded taste of the city's vibrant spirit. As our tour concluded, I felt a profound appreciation for Atlanta's rich history and the ongoing fight for justice. Jeff's passion and expertise had not only enlightened us but also ignited a desire to further explore the city's diverse cultural tapestry. I wholeheartedly recommend Roundabout Atlanta's Black History and Civil Rights tour, particularly for those seeking an immersive and authentic experience of Atlanta's historical and cultural significance. With Jeff as your guide, you're in for an unforgettable journey that will leave a lasting impact.

I rarely do reviews, particularly negative ones, however was moved to do so in this case. This was honestly the worst tour we have ever had. First, we were changed the day before from a 4 hour tour to a 5 hour tour for an unknown reason. We could live with that, so accepted the change. The person who called made the adjustment and sent us an email with confirmation. However, the tour and guide were terrible. We spent the first half hour being shown pictures of things in the city from the guide's tattered book. We then proceeded on the tour. A few of the spots were good such as the Martin Luther King Jr. funeral church and historical park. After that, it went significantly downhill. Instead of going to places such as Centennial Park or the capitol, we were taken to an unopened food court and then a skateboard park. The tour was so bad that we actually left it and caught an Uber to do our own sightseeing. I would not recommend this tour.

We had a fabulous time with our tour guide, Shelley. She was fantastic and the time she spent with us was amazing. She took us to the Martin Luther King memorial, and that was outstanding and then we went to Jimmy Carter’s library. It was unbelievable she took us all through Atlanta and explain the history and how exciting this city has become. We thoroughly enjoyed her. She took so much time with us and we just want her to know how much we appreciated Her thank you Shelley
