He really knows the island and if the sun is out, you will have a great time. If the sun is not out, be sure to ask about the weather before you take a long hike.

This was a very informative and beautiful tour that shows great parts of Sao Jorge Island. In my humble opinion, Sao Jorge is one of the prettiest islands in the Azores and in the full day tour we got to see really cool and beautiful places. It was very helpful as I couldn't rent a car. Our guide was Derek and he was very clear, patience and took really good care of the group. I highly recommend it!

This full day tour was the best was to see and celebrate all that is on the island of Sao Jorge! Our guide Nuno was kind, knowledgeable & made sure we never missed a moment of beauty or excitement throughout the day! Seeing the whole island, North, South, East & West - from tasting the Sao Jorge cheeses&visiting the factory, to swimming in natural pools, every stop along the way were well thought out and destinations you don’t want to miss! Even though the weather on Sao Jorge can be unpredictable, the rainy parts were just as wonderful to be in as the sunshine & our guide planned accordingly along with how the clouds were moving to make sure the trip was the best it could be! Added bonus: this tour picking guests up from their places of stay & dropping us all back off at the end ! 10/10 would recommend & do it all over again when I (hopefully) find my way back to Sao Jorge again in the future!

Truly, a memorable full day, with buffet lunch tour. Derek was our tour guide and assiduous at pointing out everything. We visited a small coffee plantation, an amazing Santa Barbara church, the Sao Jorge cheese factory, natural water hole for swimming “ Poça Simão Dias”, FAJÃS DO NORTE, one of the lighthouses no longer in use, and many more points of interest. Certainly was a wonderful experience to see this beautiful island of Sao Jorge some thing I will never forget!

We had a fantastic day with Nuno. He picked us up promptly and shared knowledge of his beautiful island. He was respectful and courteous. We lived meeting São Jorge through his eyes. He was knowledgeable about the stops during the day, wild life, fishing, natural swimming pools …

Since I had only one day I booked this tour with the hope to see as much as possible. Well, Jaime’s tour definitely exceeded my expectations. He took me to all the most interesting places around the island from one end to the other without looking at the time and shared his deep knowledge about the history, geology and cultural aspects of the island and the Azores in general. I cannot recommend it enough!! I can’t wait to go back to the island and take more tours with his company! Can’t beat it. Thank you so much, Jaime!!

We - a group of 6 - had a fantastic time in Sao Jorge thanks to the guide Jaime. The guide is born and raised in Sao Jorge and knows a lot about the island. He talked to us about the earthquakes and volcano eruptions, the cows, the cheese, the formation of the lagoons, the climate, the vegetation, the clams, fishing,.. Jaime showed us all the hidden secrets of the island. He recommended a walking trail to us that we did the next day. A trail with hidden caves and waterfalls. Really one of the most beautiful walking trails we did in the Azores. At the end of the day we invited the guide to join us for dinner. We went to one of the best local restaurant. The guide was very responsive, an excellent communicator. In short, it was a great experience!

Jaime is an amazing tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable about everything Sao Jorge and knows all the popular spots as well as local gems. He has a wealth of information and contacts in the Azores. From the best coffee spots, shortcuts and adventure sports (land and water) - Jaime is your guide! Furthermore, He is very punctual and helpful. I was traveling during the holidays where most tourist sites are closed. My next stop was Pico and he reached out to a local contact who helped me with my next tour. He is very genuine. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you Jaime! Until next time!! P.S.
