Oh my gosh this was such a fun tour! We live in Sacramento and actually live in the very area we toured and we still learned so much and tried some of the restaurants that we have been wanting to try but just hadn't made it yet. Dawnie was super entertaining and so knowledgeable. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this tour so much so that I plan on taking the rest of my family very soon. I honestly think that everyone who lives in this area should take this tour you will be amazed at how much you learn about your neighborhood, and if you are not from the area I think this tour will make you understand why we love our small big town of Sacramento!

Dawnies knowledge of the area was great. Hawks our last stop was amazing. We even toured the Co op learned so much. Her choice of food was great! Coffee work’s delicious. This tour is a must try even for locals.

Dawnie, the owner of this food tour, was awesome. She has an advanced degree in food science and has been in Sacramento for >30 years. Her attention to detail, accommodations for vegetarians, and food and wine sampling choices were top-notch. We were pleasantly surprised to see how artsy and upscale Sacramento (away from downtown and Old Sac) was, and our party of 5 loved the whole experience.

We really enjoyed learning about Sacramento and being able to try different types of food and drink. Dawnie was wonderful!

My friends and I visited Sacramento for the first time, traveling from Myrtle Beach, SC. We booked this tour to get a good sense of the area and we were thrilled with the experience. Dawnie took us for coffee/burritos, Vietnamese food, pastries and a wine flight with tapas. We enjoyed the beautiful murals in the Sutter district and the history of the cannery. We got a sense of the housing and markets in the area. The best part was how we conversed so well with Dawnie it was like visiting a friend who lived there. It was clear she customized the tour to our personalities. As we were finishing up the morning tour she gave us some good suggestions for how to enjoy the rest of the day - these were much appreciated and we enjoyed those activities as well.

Dawnie was an exceptional tour guide. She gave us great information as we wound our way through the historic Sutter District. From the food to the street murals to the interesting details about the Sacramento and outlying area we had a great time. A+ overall experience.

Our tour guide, Dawnie, was really passionate about the culinary arts and it really showed. She made everyone feel welcome and included everyone in the tour. We were able to really taste some delicious dishes and beverages, too, all the while acquiring much appreciated information on the subject of food. Great way to spend a late morning/early afternoon:)

Donnie was a great hostess, we felt like we were visiting an old friend. There was plenty of food, and the variety was a perfect mix of area restaurants. It was a beautiful day for walking, and Donnie even took the time at the end to walk with us to a cidery we wanted to try. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Hands down the best part of this tour was our Guide CC! A close 2nd was Evelution Restaurant. Honestly the entire selection of places and food were outstanding. CC is the perfect Gem who's knowledge of history and historical sites, experience, love of what she does and welcoming personality completes a must take Food Tour of Sutter District when visiting Sacramento CA! Only thing missing was me not taking any pictures of the places visited.

Learning about the history of the city we live in, open to questions and a fun afternoon! CC Was full of good information and made the day interesting.
