The best trip we have done! The driver Jose and his trainee Chad were outstanding. They made the whole trip perfect for our family. We saw awesome sights, learnt lots of history about the place and enjoyed the track driving. At each stop we met lovely people and experienced a wide range of activities from visiting castle ruins, through organic farm trip to swimming in a natural spring pool. They spoke about things in a way that kept our son aged 11, and us in our 50’s interested and entertained our family in their 20’s. Great skill. We laughed lots, learnt lots and saw such a beautiful side to Portugal.

Excellent tour with Carla to see the other side of Albufeira, visiting an organic farm, windmill, waterfall and a bakery. We tasted locally produced honey and firewater. We were a nice small group, and it was lovely to sit back while she ably navigated the backroads, stopping to chat about sights along the way, such as the Cork tree, or to feed some piglets carob.

First, we received the warmest welcome ever, aboard the tour and as we journeyed along, we enjoyed healthy, friendly humour and discussions (information) about the surroundings between sight-seeing stops. The information was around history, culture, geology, agriculture, current affairs and many more relevant and appropriate topics. All the views were stunning, and we couldn't resist filming and taking pictures. Some of the amazing stops included the church of Paderne, its surroundings and the nearby shops. The castle of Paderne and the history associated with it were thought provoking. The panoramic view of the Paderne bridge and pure nature were inspirational. It was amazing to see and hear of the ancient windmill that is still functional today. The goji berry organic farm was medicinal, reassuring and motivating. The bakery was appetising and delicious. Then finally the Vigario falls was refreshing and rejuvenating. But most and best of all was being in the company of the team and tourists, this was divine.

Very enlightening. Our tour guides were nice ladies and very knowledgeable. Definitely good value for the money paid. I would highly recommend if you don’t fancy the water tours.

Carla was the absolute best tour guide I’ve ever had! She was so knowledgeable, funny, kind and really gave us a chance to enjoy every stop. She took us to the best little snack places.

Me and my husband were in Portugal for a few days last week to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. The weather for our 3rd day was forecast to be cloudy so we decided it would be a time to do a jeep safari so that we would be under cover if it rained. Fortunately the weather turned out to be amazing and so did the safari! Lovely Carla from Zebra Safari Tours picked us up right from our hotel and we joined two other families out in the jeep. We were SO glad we had Carla as our guide. She was absolutely amazing, so lovely and funny and was very knowledgeable about the area. We saw many beautiful places that we wouldn't have known about or have otherwise been able to get to if we hadn't gone on the tour. There was lots of travelling on narrow, bumpy hill roads - great fun! We sampled honey, fruits and wines and saw bees, amazing trees and plants and goats (sooo cute!!) Loved visiting the old grain mill! The trip was meant to be just for the morning however Carla actually spent much longer with us, well on into the afternoon. The tour ended with Carla droppings us back at our hotel and we waved a fond farewell, promising to book another trip on our next visit. Half an hour later I discovered my phone was missing... much panic ensued until I remembered that I could track the phone's location on my ipad. We saw it moving around the area and phoned Carla to ask if she was anywhere near to where the phone was. It turned out she was exactly where the phone was as I had dropped it in the jeep! We booked a taxi with another Carla - it seems all the nicest people in Portugal are called Carla :D Jeep Carla arranged a place to meet up with Taxi Carla and I was reunited with my phone. Both couldn't have done more to help out and I have been left with very, very fond memories of visiting Portugal and the kind people I met there. We will DEFINITELY be visiting again later on in the year and am already looking forward to booking another Zebra safari with Carla. If you are reading this and wondering if you should book a tour - do it! You will be so glad you did. And ask for Carla - she will make your holiday one with very happy memories!

We had Carla as our tour guide and could not recommend this tour enough, she was so pleasant, welcoming and most all friendly and accommodating. The tour was very informative, fun and a nice adventure for a day out. You get to experience parts of Albufeira that would not get to see otherwise, some very beautiful sights to see on this tour and a lot of history to learn.
