My husband and I were the only two who booked our time slot. It was a very insightful and enjoyable time with Grace. She really knows her stuff and I like how the tour is very different than the other tours around town. I highly recommend her tour for just her alone. Such a kind and sweet person to talk to and with.

Very interesting way to see/learn about history of the town - through postcards!
Grace was very informative and accommodating - asking us what we were most interested in hearing about/seeing and also making sure we were able to go to the restroom in a town that is not so accommodating for public restrooms.

There are A LOT of tours in Salem, and I've taken quite a few. A lot of them tend to fall into two categories: witch trials, or paranormal. And if you take a bunch of tours, you'll find them overlapping quite a bit - to the point that, as you visit different locations, you'll have a pretty good idea of which story is about to be told.
THIS tour is a bit different. It focuses on a "then and now" approach, showing you images, via vintage postcards, of how Salem used to be, versus how it is now. The guide, Grace, will take you to locations that many of the other tours don't go. She'll provide stories that other tours skip, or only mention in passing, and she'll pepper in some stories from her personal experiences.
Plus, being newer, the tour size tends to be smaller and more intimate.
All in all, it was a nice change, and provided me something different from the other tours that all seem to draw from the same well.

Was lucky enough to be the only one who had booked the morning tour! It's a very interesting concept and Grace is the right person for it, as she makes sure to include her own personal experiences and keep it more personal for attendees.

This tour gives a great look into the history of Salem from it's most iconic buildings to the famous individuals who lived there. Grace is a very kind and passionate tour guide who shares her personal experiences with the city and helps you to imagine Salem as it was 100+ years ago. Very unique and informational tour!

This tour was so fun and informative. It was so nice to go around Salem with a local and learn a wide range of history about the town. Seeing the post cards in relation to the current buildings was such a fun bonus.

This was the first tour we did in Salem and that was a good idea! It was awesome to see the current landscape of locations and what they looked like in the past. We visited and learned about a few witch trial locations. So many other tours cover so much of the witch trials. This tour was nice because it also touched on other general history points of Salem.
The tour guide Grace was amazing. When we couldn't find the starting point of the tour, she called us so we could find her. She was so nice, personable, and knowledgeable. She even shared personal experiences of living in Salem along the tour and recommended shops to visit.

The Salem Vintage Postcard Tour was fantastic. Grace has a wonderful personality and was well prepared for the tour. The tour was very interesting, seeing the vintage postcards and how the buildings and geography has changes over the years is so interesting. Grace told lots of stories of all the areas in the postcards and had lots of knowledge of Salem. Grace covered more and different information than the witch trial tours did. If this is your first time visiting Salem or you want to have an enjoyable and fun experience in Salem then definitely book this tour.
Thanks Grace for the great experience and making my Salem visit very memorable.
