Jordan was an incredible host and so knowledgeable about the fire knife. My husband and I had so much fun learning about the culture. Would absolutely recommend to all that are interested in straying away from the beach to experience something new.

There was no experience i felt left down i couldn't even rebook on a later date. This happened right before one day I was supposed to leave for my trip.

Watching the demonstration and hearing about the history. The info about the different cultures was great. The leader was laid back and yet a great performer. The fire dancers were great! We recommend a banner to show where to meet. And we recommend a little more formal photo op, offer to take pics with each family with their phones.

This was so much fun and a great experience that you won't get anywhere else. We scheduled this as a surprise for our 18yr old son and his friend while on our vacation to Kauai. The instructor was wonderful and patient with all the attendees as we learned some of the moves of the Fire Knife Dance. At the end of the show we were all spinning our fire knives! What a unique experience - if you get a chance to try it, don't pass it up.

We did this experience last week and it was phenomenal! It was my husband, my mom, our 7yo, our 4yo, and myself. We all had such a fun time and really learned a lot. Plus, they do private fireknife shows in between teaching the moves. Totally worth it! Such a great way to get an authentic Polynesian experience in Hawaii!

I just returned from my first Samoan Fire Knife Experience and was surprised at how fun it was! We had 3 generations in our group and everyone enjoyed it! We were welcomed to learn the cultural history of the Fire Knife Dance, encouraged to ask questions, and enticed to try our hand at the basic maneuvers. I figured that I’d just watch others try it, but then I couldn’t help trying it myself, when Jordan broke it down into easy segments to try and patiently helped us with intuitive advice. He taught the basics to us (without fire) and how we could put them all together for a performance if we practiced those basics. (Haha, I will leave that to the professionals!) I have a far greater admiration now for those who have mastered the art of the Fire Knife Dance. I’m tempted to make my own practice baton to experiment with what we learned, so I don’t forget how to do it! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about this fascinating art in a non threatening class, especially if you are going to a fire knife performance during your visit. I felt like a success after mastering one twirl. The performers do hundreds in succession, catching it behind their backs, etc. Amazing!

Awesome experience!! Jordan and Mason were super helpful and gave a great demo. Learned the techniques on simple stocks and at the end had a chance to handle it ourselves - will definitely do this again on my next trip back to Kauai
