Very personalized tour. Great guide. Loved the stories of both the Castro and the mission. We visited some out of the way places—very interesting.

Such a great time - so much information delivered by someone who truly adores his city. Ryan is a trove of city lore and history. Obviously loves what he does and where he does it.

Fantastic in depth tour that takes you to the real side of the area. The history and culture details Ryan reveals are really interesting. We were privileged to explore with just us 2 and Ryan but a larger group would be equally as good.

Ryan was a very knowledgeable and fun tour guide. We had such a great time walking around listening to interesting history and stories of the places we visited. The walk took us to some great parts of the city. Would highly recommend the tour and will definitely book another one of the walking tours when we are next in SF. 👍🏽

Excellent tour and we learned so much about the history and culture of the area. Ryan is very detailed, humorous and animated. You will climb many hills and see amazing views, secret stairs, stunning architecture, lovely residential gardens, beautiful murals, and interesting shops. My niece was visiting and she loved it, too. We live locally and plan to take additional tours from Ryan in the future.

I had the best time with my tour guide Ryan. I found out alot of history around the sites from architecture to where I need to visit while I'm here. I highly recommend this tour.

What a great tour Ryan gave us! Learned a lot of interesting things we could never have found out about without a tour guide. Even though we had already been on a food tour of Mission, this walking tour covered very few of the same things that our food tour covered. Loved learning about the bay windows, golden fire hydrant, pirate store, native and non-native plants, a national parklet, stairway streets, mural alleys, and the history of both Castor and Mission. Fascinating!

I highly recommend the Castro and Mission tour, it was fascinating and very entertaining. Our guide (Ryan) was awesome, so knowledgeable about the area, and very enthusiastic and engaging. Ryan had a light schedule that day, we really appreciated the fact that he spent extra time with us to extend the tour. Both of those districts are full of history and character, and Ryan was the perfect guide to walk us through.

The guide was terrific. From describing the plants to description of the homes, to the history of the area, it was phenomenal. I highly recommend this tour.
