An incredible gastronomic tour in Donostia guided by such a nice guide called Maider :) We tasted a lot of different types of food and drinks. Thanks!

Javier kept us entertained and informed for over 3.5 hours on this very well planned food and drinks tour. We leant so much about Spanish food and culture and were able to experience places that are more local than touristy in San Sebastián. Every bar we stopped at had a delicous offering. At the end of the tour we really had no room for the last 2 dishes so Javier very kindly arranged with the bar for us to come back the next day to complete the floor tour! We did this and it was most appreciated. It’s a high cost tour but the price is well worth it. Thank you Javier

Javier gave us an excellent introduction to San Sebastián along with our visits to pintxos bars. We enjoyed learning about the city, its history, its challenges and of course its culinary traditions while we tasted a variety of wines and pintxos. We also appreciated the suggestions Javier gave us for additional bars and restaurants. I recommend taking the tour at the beginning of your visit to San Sebastián.

Maider was a fantastic host and guide! We enjoyed our time walking with her and getting a taste of the culture in San Sebastian. While we actually did like the touristy area, she was able to show us the much more authentic side of the city which we liked even more. In fact, we loved our last stop with her so much, we made our dinner reservation there for the next night. The proprietor could not have been more welcoming to our group of eight! Thanks to Maider!

We had an amazing tour with Julián. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and we found it easy to ask questions about both the city and culture in Spain. He knew a lot of the history about the areas we walked through and the restaurants we stopped at. This was hands down one of the best food tours I've been on!

Javier was an amazing guide. We felt like he really helped us “see” San Sebastián. He took us to places that we would go to again, was knowledgeable and interesting not only in regards to food and restaurants but also history, politics and pop culture. My husband and my 19 and 21 year old all agreed that they would highly recommend this tour with Javier. Fun, interesting, covered a lot. We just wish that he was coming to Madrid with us!

We had a lovely evening with Maider last night. She was a very enthusiastic guide and took us to wonderful places with amazing food. We had such an enjoyable evening and wished we would have taken this tour on our first night in San Sebastián as there were many places we would have liked to go back to but sadly are leaving town.

We enjoyed our tour in San Sebastián. Julen kept us out of the crowds of the old town and we experienced some delicious food. We were also lucky to have a fun group to tour with!

The whole experience was outstanding and completely exceeded all expectations! Our guide, Javier, had a wealth of knowledge that he was kind enough to share with the group. He taught us a plethora of interesting facts about the history, culture and cuisine of San Sebastián. He provided us with the optimum experience by choosing the best dish on each menu along the way. Every location had a different vibe and they were all wonderful - we would never have discovered these gems if it weren't for this experience. The food was sensational, the wine was delicious and I couldn't recommend this tour enough. It was a perfect way to explore the city and get stuck into all that San Sebastián has to offer. Well done and thank you, Javier!
