Don’t hesitate to book this tour if your a Hitchcock fan like I am. The actual sites are fine but the tidbits of fun information are great! It was a wonderful few hours discussing his films. I wholeheartedly recommend Sandra as a unique and entertaining guide!!! I learned a lot and had so much fun.

Sandra was quite knowledgeable about everything Hitchcock. The whole family enjoyed her stories even my teenage son. I highly recommend this tour and Sandra!

Sandra has a wealth of knowledge about both Hitchcock and the movie industry. The tour covers some of the filiming locations in Frenzy and The Man Who Knew Too Much and areas where Hitchcock lived and worked. Most of the people in our group had not seen these two movies, but they still really enjoyed the tour. The tour made them want to rent both movies. I especially liked seeing Hitchcock's home in the 1930s and the Brompton Oratory, the church where he was married. The tour certainly took me to areas that I would not have seen on my own. Sandra is very entertaining, and we enjoyed talking to her as much as seeing the actual Hitchcock locations. I highly recommend the tour.

Sandra was wonderful! It was amazing to meet someone who had actually interviewed Hitchcock. It was really cool to hear some of the audio from that interview as well. I really enjoyed going to the church where Hitchcock got married. Sandra is a wealth of knowledge about Hitchcock, so it’s a great tour if you’re a fan of his. It definitely helps to see the films Frenzy & The Man Who Knew Too Much before you do the tour! The locations will make a lot more sense. It’s still great even if you haven’t seen those films though. You’ll need a day pass or Oyster card because we took the train and bus a couple times to get to all the locations. I don’t think it cost more than £10 for the public transport portion.

Ms Shevey, the journalist who did Hitch's last 1 on 1 Interview in 1972 after his work on 'Frenzy,' gives fascinating and incisive insight into what she experienced of his persona and the nature of his character and relations with actors. As you walk and talk she is very open to one's questions and dispells many misunderstandings about him as she shows one various film locations such as the ones for "Frenzy," and "The Man Who Knew Too Much." My favorite parts of the tour (do bring an oyster card as you will ride the tube with her to Earl's Court and later the bus from Mayfair to Covent Garden where the tour ends) locales which were the settings for his personal life: the townhouse in Cromwell Road where he and Alma lived from 1926 as newly-weds post the success of "The Lodger" till 1939 when they moved to America; then St. Philip Neri, the Catholic Church where He and Alma wedded and then she brings you to a favorite pub of his in Covent Garden, right after you see the building the camera pulls back from in "Frenzy" to the noisy exterior as Bob Russ murders Babs Millivan . It's about as close to Hitchcock as you're likely to get! It was a very memorable experience indeed. Ms Shevey is a fascinating individual. Enjoy!

We had such a wonderful tour in London. Mrs. Sandra Sheve has alot of insider knowledge and we talked about Alfred Hitchcock, his wife Alma, his films and visited different locations. Our conversation was so entertaining and warm-hearted. We got very much informations, sometimes it felt like circles would have been closed or puzzles would have been completed regarding my image of Alfred Hitchcock, his films and his time. Every second was pleasure. We enjoyed every single minute.

When I first saw there was a Hitchcock walking tour I was so excited. I have been a devoted fan and studied his films for years. Only problem was I am in a wheelchair and was concerned I wouldn’t be able to do the tour. I sent Sandra an email with my concerns and as fast as you can say Hitchcock, Sandra wrote me back. Sandra kindly offered to do a private tour for me and my spouse. Not only that, through our conversations Sandra saved us from booking a hotel in an inaccessible spot in London. We ended up in a wonderful place thanks to her. Our day with Sandra was one of the most memorable of our visit to London. Sandra is a gem of a person and a wealth of knowledge about Hitchcock, and so much more! Well, you have to take the tour, I cannot recommend a more delightful and fascinating lady than Sandra. If you are a Hitchcock bluff or fan try to do one of Sandra’s tours. You won’t be disappointed!

A lovely afternoon checking out some of Hitchcock's film locations and home. Sandra is a great guide with loads of background knowledge of the famous directors life and times. She is very open to questions at all levels, from film theory to love interests. Her history lesson also takes in stories concerning the great actors that worked with Hitch. The added bonus is opening up parts of central London I did not know existed (even after living in London for thirty years)! So, I highly recommend this tour. It is very good value.
