    Wonderful trip. Amazing display of architecture (Roman, Medieval, and Gothic) in the historic center. Surprisingly good and contemporary restaurants, such as Ó Balcão, Páteo da Graça, and 2 Petiscos. Great stay at Casa de Alcáçova.

    Old town of Santarem, churches, gothic, portas do sol: a long tour very interesting and attractive. Guide Antonio learned and competent for about 3 hours in excellent English illustrated and explained everything, with many details related to the miracle of Santarem. Certainly on the morning of the weekday and the decision to make parking difficult and expensive have made the streets deserted and highlighted shops not all in business. However positive experience, and Antonio in his appreciable courtesy picked me up and drove me back to the train station: obrigado!
