    This tour covers a lot in 1 day! Our guide/driver Carla was excellent, fluent in English and French and shared insights and history throughout the day! Coimbra is a must see--the university is so old an impressive! However, book your tickets in advance as they are not included and often sell out early. We bought hour a week ahead and had no problems. We went to the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Coimbra, the University, and then walked down through the old town together. Next was Aveiro--we had time on our own for lunch and Carla recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch! Then we had a nice boat tour along the canals. Our final stop was the striped houses at the beach outside of Aveiro. She kindly dropped us off at one end and picked us up at the other ! Excellent; no way we could do this on our own. Very happy with the tour! Highly recommend!

    Really enjoyed this tour. Wouldnt have been able to visit as many places as we did without the tour. The tour I did ended up being in Portuguese and English. I think I would have preferred it to just be in one language but they do warn you before hand that due to numbers they might have to combine. Please note it didn't include bottled water like it says online. The minivan was great and really comfortable and had aircon.

    Very informative tour with lots to see. Carla was a wonderful guide. Very friendly and eager to help and share knowledge.

    Sofia was an excellent guide! We learned a lot and she was very courteous. She is very personable and ensured that we had a full experience ( i.e. attractions, food, shopping). Would highly recommend her!

    Highly recommend visiting Porto for at least a week so you can explore Porto and it's surrounds. Coimbra University and visiting the town of Coimbra was a highlight, the University is still a working university and one of the oldest, the town with it's hilly back streets, if you so chose to walk the back streets, are just charming. Aveiro is another charming town to visit. Highly recommend this tour.
