Pleasant tour guide/driver. But it was somewhat hard to hear time and he spoke with considerable accent. In addition, he had two non-English speaking passengers in the front seat and he spent some time narrating to them -- to of no benefit to us. While he was informative, he could have given us a lot more background on what we were seeing, history of area, etc.

Azores Dream Tours did not pick us up after we rescheduled and paid for April 02 tour. Tour office not professional; could have, should have accommodated us after we waited and spoke to them . Terrible experience!

We signed up for and paid for a full day tour with lunch. Our ship arrived late and we were not able to start on time, so we were combined in a bus with those taking the half day tour. We did not get the lunch which was to be included, and the tour finished two hours before we needed to return to the ship, so we could have done most of what we paid for in the full day tour.

From the moment we hopped in the van, this was a tour full of beautiful sights, great stories, and non-stop laughs. Rafael was a great guide, even though he was a bit controlling regarding the van doors lol. We made all the described stops, plus a few extras with special treats! The lunch was plentiful and delicious. If you want a tour with a local that isn’t too formal, then I highly recommend this one. If we were here longer I would absolutely book another tour with them!

Rafael, our tour guide was 5 stars. He was knowledgeable, patient and flexible. Using Viator, the booking company, on the other hand, almost caused us to miss the tour completely. We were waiting an hour for pick up, and finally called Viator who said the guide would meet us shortly. When the guide arrived, he said that he was late because we were considered a last minute add-on. This was particularly frustrating because we had already booked, paid for and received confirmation a month before from Viator. Because of this, we had already missed the first tour stop. The van was old, had no air conditioning, and the rear window would not open to let air in. What saved the tour was our wonderful guide and the beautiful places we visited. We recommend booking directly with the local tour company rather than using Viator. This would also avoid receiving all Viator’s annoying ads, which we are even less likely to utilize after this experience.
