Such a great way to explore the mountain trails and backroads with a Cherokee guide. We came away learning a lot about the Cherokee people, their history and the way they preserve their heritage on to the next generation. Even though the day was mixed with sun and rain, the beauty of the forest, trails and our friendly guide made the day truly special.

I highly recommend this tour! Let me start by saying if I could give this tour 100 stars I would. I have traveled to many places in my 60 years and never have I been on an adventure that I enjoyed as much as this one. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared many stories of the Cherokee. He took us to the top if the world and back stopping along the way to let us take in the views and sharing the history. We also saw and photographed many elk in their natural habitat. We also hiked a magnificent waterfall but the most touching part of this trip was when our guide Bryan took us into a very old church and sang Amazing Grace in Cherokee. He has an incredible voice and the acoustics in that building were phenomenal. If in the area again I will do this trip again. Worth every penny!!!!!!!!

We had a really great time on this tour. I originally booked it because my family wanted to see the elk (which we did!), but I actually enjoyed the other stops - the old church and Mingo Falls - just as much. The tour guide was very friendly and informative
