    Lead by a fantastic host Ash, this tour was informative, numerous, interesting and DELICIOUS! Was a great way to learn about Lyon and taste the local cuisine.

    As a solo traveller I found this tour gave me a great immersion in Lyonnaise food and wine. Ash was a great guide who involved everyone and was considerate in the heat!

    Rosie was friendly and knowledgable. I loved her fun facts. We went to a variety of spots in the city, walking between at a perfect, slow, pace. The group size was 12 which was ok. Rosie shared her knowledge of Lyon as well as the history of food. She happily answered our many questions and gave recommendations for travel as well as restaurants. We were very happy. Two sit down stops with wine as well as two sweet treats and a coffee.

    The largest pedestrianised city square in Europe, with a statue of Louis IX right in the heart of the Presqu'ile of Lyon. Here we pick up the 'secret sweet treat' from Voisin, a Lyon based chocolate shop, to enjoy at the end of the tour.

    A hot dish main course and a glass of wine in a family run Bouchon that first opened nearly 100 years ago. You have a choice of typical Bouchon style dishes from the menu, covering meat, fish and vegetarian options.

    Mokxa Boutique Grand Hôtel-Dieu

    Here we get an Expresso at one of Lyon's top coffee boutiques before heading back into the oldest part of the Hôtel-Dieu, to drink the coffees and taste the final 'secret' sweet treat to finish the tour.
