What a lovely experience! Marta is an excellent guide and we visited places that we would never try on our own. It was an amiable group of 6 and everyone tried and loved everything! Recommend highly!

Jose Manuel, was our guide for this walking tour. He was very knowledgeable about traditional foods, wines, and port of Portugal. There were 10 in our group, and this was a walking tour. At times it was difficult hearing Jose due to traffic and heavy construction. Also, Monday turns out to be a day a lot of restaurants are closed. Jose and the tour company easily found quality replacement locations. All food was delicious. At the Mercado, it was very busy, but Jose was able to have everything well organized with vendors. Overall, this was a very good tour, great sightseeing by foot, and exposure to very good food.

We had an amazing experience during the Secret Food Tour Porto with Jose Manuel - amazing food, great places, and Jose had lots of great info about the city and the culture of Porto! We would definitely recommend this - such a fun way to experience Porto!

I went to Porto for a short visit, and this was even better than I expected. I really enjoyed Jose's insights and the way he communicated with all the people who attended the tour. He seemed to have good communication with all the vendors we went, and my absolute favourite was the market, where we could try different things and get very good explanations. It was nice that we had some time to explore the market as well. The end of the tour leaves you in a nice location to continue exploring the city. Enjoyed it very much! 5 stars!!! If you're having second thoughts, don't! Just book this tour with José! You won't regret it!

Jose was terrific. He shared history as well as food in a very warm manner. Our group became very friendly very quickly, chatting quite a bit. Jose let us talk, but also kept us moving and informing us along the way. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Porto!

The tour was fun, interesting and really gave me a unique opportunity to sample the local culture and foods. The icing on the cake was our fabulous local guide, Alphè, personable and engaging as well as very knowledgeable about the history.

Had a very enjoyable morning with Jose Manuel. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and we had some fun. All the food we ate was good. I especially enjoyed the spicy pork sandwich. I’m not sure about the secret dish mentioned on the website or if the upgraded drinks package was good value for money - we only got 1 glass of Port for example and the website says “an extra portion of Port.” Nonetheless it was an enjoyable morning and I would recommend it.

An informative tour (on culture as well as food), with very good tastes during stops. Also many, many tips and suggestions from Jose Manuel—one of which we visited the same evening for an excellent meal.
