Cristian, our tour guide took us to Greek ruins in Sargenta, Elymian medieval town of Erice, and salt flats. He spoke English and explained all sites perfectly. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour. Our guide Umberto was very conversational with a great knowledge and pride in Sicily. He took us through Erice explaining the town and introduced us the Maria! Segesta and Erice are fantastic!

This was a fantastic trip out! I was travelling with my 84 year old mother and her 75 year old cousin. We just had 4 days in Palermo together and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day out. All 3 places are well worth visiting - very interesting (and pretty) locations. Umberto, our guide, was fantastic - I can't recommend him enough. He was extremely informative and helpful throughout the whole day; telling us lots of things about Sicily as we were driving to and from and each location. There was no pressure to hurry at any location (bearing in mind I had 2 elderly people with me). Umberto walked around Erice with us, sharing lots of information. He also took us to a wonderful pastry shop there; getting us a table and a selection of pastries and coffees. This was a well organised tour and well worth doing if you have a few days in Palermo. It was great to see a bit more of Sicily and not just the city.

Umberto was a cautious driver and we felt very comfortable with him. He is an excellent story teller. Not only did we learn a lot about Sicily but he also told us many anecdotes and gave us an insight of the culture and mentality of the sicilian people.

A perfect day to end our two weeks in Sicily. Our driver and guide, Umberto, was outstanding. The vehicle was spotless and new, his English language skills were very good, and he was thoughtful enough to have cold bottles of water in the car. The temple at Segesta was impressive, more complete than the Parthenon in Athens. Visiting the salt flats and museum near Trapani was an unexpected education in the history and importance of the salt industry to the island. Jewel of the day was the mountain top town of Erice. The cool temperatures were a welcome relief from the streets of Palermo. Umberto guided us around town with excellent knowledge of the buildings, history, and artisan shops. He brought us to his recommended restaurant for lunch, which we enjoyed in a beautiful shaded courtyard. Absolutely five stars!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is ready to see the best sites in Western Sicily in a highly efficient and enjoyable manner. Umberto was a very knowledgeable, flexible, friendly and congenial guide. The sites that he took us to exceeded our expectations. He really opened up Erice to us, introducing us to a local celebrity pastry chef, showing us a great place for lunch, and walking us to the most picturesque spots for stunning photographs. He even added a special treat at the end of the tour, which was walking through a Gaudi-esque village created by local artists. Grazie mille Umberto!

Sal and Umberto were great hosts. Lots of info and free time for lunch and shopping. We had a comfortable van and took lots of photos. 3 of 4 of us are from Italian/Sicilian heritage.
