Tour commentary concludes in Cervantes. The Pinnacles are best enjoyed at sunrise or sunset. An overnight stay in nearby towns, Cervantes or Lancelin, is recommended for a truly magical experience. We recommend allowing 2.5 hours to return to Perth upon the conclusion of your tour.

What to expect
The Pinnacles Desert
The main tour route follows the Turquoise Coast, hugging the Indian Ocean Drive from Perth to the Pinnacles and beyond to the township of Cervantes. Driving from Perth's CBD to Cervantes along the Indian Ocean Drive takes at least 2.5 hours to include all major points of interest. We recommend allowing extra time if you want to try our recommended pit stops just off the beaten track or lingering longer.
Alkimos
The tour's first point of interest is Alkimos Beach, named after the Alkimos shipwreck. It's a great place to grab a coffee before you hit the Indian Ocean Drive.
Yanchep National Park
Looking for kangaroos and koalas? A diversion into Yanchep National Park is a great place to see native flora and fauna.
Guilderton
Looking for treasure? Guilderton is known for its shipwrecks and unspoiled scenery.
Lancelin
Lancelin is known for its sand dunes, friendly locals, and scenic pubs.
Nilgen Lookout
See wildflowers all year round with our immersive filters. Nilgen Reserve has a short wildflower walk and stunning views out to the Indian Ocean.
Wedge Lookout
Enjoy the beautiful view of the green forest blending into the white coastline and blue waters complemented by stunning views of the Jurien Bay Marine Park.
The Pinnacles
Explore the otherwordly Pinnacles Desert, including a Visitor's Centre, driving track, or a 4.5 km walking loop.
Hangover Bay
Perfect place to rest, relax, and cool down after a long day exploring the coast.
Lake Thetis
Lake Thetis is known for its unique living thrombolites, one of few sites in the world. The raised boardwalk protects the living thrombolites, ancient living microbial structures, from human interference. It's an enchanting place, offering nature walks and native birds.
Cervantes
Your final destination, the town of Cervantes, has Spanish roots in its name due to the shipwreck of Cervantes, named after Miguel de Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote. It's the perfect place to enjoy the region's famous rock lobster.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
