    this is the old Benson's wild animal farm that the town and great volunteer, turned in a good place to walk and enjoy. they have a dog park and playground for kids. also picnic areas. they have a beautiful 9-11 memorial that is an absolute must see. my husband and i take our dog for a walk here mostly every day. they have bench's, some in the sun and shade so your and sit and enjoy the park. i cant say enough good things about the park

    It was the worst tour ever. All it did was play music. It was so stupid I want a total refund please on both things I purchased

    I learned a lot. I recommend it! I walked with my spouse, muttering out random facts as we walked along.

    Great place to visit for 1/2 day! We packed a lunch and took the self guided walking tour. It was so fun walking through the past and my childhood.

    The narration of "John T. Benson" through the beautiful Benson Park was a peaceful and educational experience. Although Benson Wild Animal Farm is not on the grounds anymore this tour gives you a sense of what did exist.

    Self-guided smartphone walking tour of historic Benson Park. This one-mile tour is narrated by John T. Benson, the original owner of "Benson's Wild Animal Farm", which first opened in 1924. The tour includes the Gorilla House where Tony the gorilla lived, the A-Frame picnic area, Amphitheatre, Swan Lake with fish, turtles & birds, the Butterfly Garden, the Old Shoe on Storybook Hill, the Benson Park Store & Gift Shop, and the 9-11 Memorial.
