Nino guided us along The Path of the Gods today with transfer from Sorrento to the start of the path. We hiked to the cliffs above Positano with spectacular views. Nino has a great love for the space, the way of life in the area and he taught us about the challenges and rewards of harvesting the best food in this stunning place. It was amazing to stop along the hike back for a taste of the local cheese, cherry tomatoes, fresh bread, and cold meats with wine. Bring some cash to tip the chef! (So worth it). I realized during the second half of the hike that Nino was keeping us in quieter areas of the trail, away from the big crowds that fill the path on weekends. It was such a great day, a highlight for us while in Sorrento. Thank you Nino, what a stunning day

Amazing hike! It was a highlight from our time in Sorrento. Perfect 1/2 excursion. Highly recommend!

The tour had to be re-scheduled due to bad weather. I was then offered another time for the trip. All communication was clear and timely, and overall everything was handled very professionally. We started in the morning in Sorrento, driving about an hour to the start of the path. Despite the cloudy weather, the views were spectacular. Our guide, Antonino, made sure that everyone was doing ok, telling interesting stories about the history and nature. The highlight was the mid-way stop in a local shepherd's hut for a light lunch (home made cheese, slice of ham, tomatoes, bread) outdoors with the group. The hike itself takes ca. 3.5 hours + driving time 1 hour/direction.

Loved being able to hike most of this trail with a delicious stop at an authenic shephards hut for snacks (lunch). Prompt pick up and wonderful conversation along the way. Would be difficult to get to the starting point on our own when staying in Sorrento. Don'[t hesitate to book this wonderful excursion!

amazing scenery mapped to great commentary from our guide giovanni Glad for the cooler April weather - suspect high season is difficult in the heat. Both myself and my 12yo thoroughly enjoyed the hike

A highlight of our Amalfi coast trip, the views of the sea and surrounding towns are stunning. Nino is among the best tour guides we've had - very knowledgeable & kind, always willing to answer questions. We had plenty of breaks during the hike as well. Visiting the shepherd's home with fresh goat cheese and bread was icing on the cake! Would recommend only doing this on a sunny day (if it's cloudy won't be able to see the views). 10/10 recommend

For anyone wanting to do the Path of the Gods without worrying about transportation logistics, this is a great option. Nino was at the meeting point as promised at 8am. We quickly were on our way. During the drive he was an encyclopedia of knowledge of the area. His English was excellent and it was easy to have a conversation during the hour or so drive to the trail head. During the hike he took time to make sure the entire group was ok and together. He didn’t rush ahead but maintained a good pace. His knowledge of the surrounding area was great and made for a very interesting hike. This is a loop and not the whole trail. It’s starts at Bomerano and ends at Bomerano. He does give you the option of leaving the group at the return point if you want to continue to Positano but you will be on your own to get back to Sorrento. The day we went, I found out on the drive back that the ferries were not running due to inclement weather. I was hoping to do the whole trail with my family but after booking that this tour I am glad I opted not to try to work out logistics on getting to Bomerano and then getting back from Positano. We did stop at the a Shepard hut like others have stated. It’s was just ok but a nice break. The real star of the show is a Nino.

We had a magical day on our tour with Nino. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the local area. The trek along the path was fabulous, albeit a little hairy in parts for myself who has a fear of heights. There were ample places to stop and take in the amazing scenery. The lunch stop at the shepherds hut was really quaint and the rest was a welcoming one. It would have been helpful if Nino could have waited for all the walkers in his group to catch up before commencing his explanation of each point of interest. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great guide, very funny, good safe driver, very knowledgeable about the area. Very good communication, very patient with the slower members of the group, loved every minute.

Our tour guide, Nino, picked us up from Sorrento. I must say, Nino was the most informative tour guide we had in Italy. From the moment he picked us up, he had tons of information regarding all the towns we passed by on our drive to the hiking trail. Nino also stopped at a cafe so we can purchase coffee or pastries and use the bathroom for those who needed it. The Path of the Gods trail had such breath taking views. Nino provided us so much information regarding its history and showed us several wild herbs for us to smell and taste. He also brought us to a local shepherd. If you provide a small tip he will provide drinks and individual charcuterie plates. The food and drinks were soo fresh and tasty. It was also nice being able to sit and chat with the rest of members which was a family of 5. The hike itself was fairly easy in my opinion. I would have loved to hike the entire trail but we had limited time. We actually saw Nino in Capri two days later doing a tour. He actually gave us a few suggestions on what to see in Capri which was nice of him to do. This excursion is a must and Nino is the perfect tour guide.
